Project Description
This position is in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The Legal Intern will support the R&D, Regulatory, and Commercialization Law group, which provides guidance and advice to departments including, but not limited to, the Clinical, Medical, Market Access, Sales, and Marketing Teams responsible for strategies relating to commercial and medical activities for products that are in development and/or FDA-approved. The Legal Intern will have exposure to a broad range of legal and corporate functions. The Legal Intern will assist Law Department attorneys with providing strategic counseling and ensuring compliance with applicable laws related to clinical development and commercialization of the company's products, including: ICH GCP Guidelines; Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act; False Claims Act; the Anti-Kickback Statute; and similar state laws. The Legal Intern may assist in the legal review of advertising and promotional materials, business plans/strategies, policies and SOPs, informed consent forms, and/or other ad hoc reviews.
Necessary Technical Skills
* Pursuing a JD degree, with preference to students who will have completed their first year of law school by Summer 2026.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word and PowerPoint and using other data‐driven applications.
* Strong writing, research, communication and interpersonal skills.
