This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. This is a ten-week internship (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2026 located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer focused individuals eager to develop a collaborative leadership style with a team of hourly employees across our Operations network! Our warehouses are fast-paced supply chain environments where standing, walking, and having on-the-production floor conversations are common.
As an Area Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to coach, motivate and mentor a team of Amazon associates in a warehouse environment. Key job responsibilities
- Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates
- Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off.
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2026 and August 2027

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Position Summary:
As a Game Day Intern, you will join the Sioux Falls Canaries for a dynamic summer, gaining behind-the-scenes experience in professional baseball operations. Water System & Wastewater Engineering
Water supply, treatment, and distribution engineering has long been the hallmark of our business. Our design experience in water systems range from simple chlorination and chemical feed points for wells that pump directly into water distribution systems to large, complete water treatment plants. Through distribution system modeling, we evaluate capacity, system pressure, and available fire flow to develop design criteria or locate booster pumps and water reservoirs. Interns may assist with source analysis and development, well fields, groundwater analysis, water treatment plant start-up, evaluation and design, ground storage reservoirs, water towers, pump stations, metering stations, and water distribution.
With growing concerns for the environment prompting new, innovative wastewater treatment strategies, we are leaders in wastewater engineering. Banner assists also with wastewater improvements or facility upgrades. Interns may assist with municipal, industrial, or agricultural wastewater treatment, treatment plant start-up, evaluation and design, wastewater collection, lift stations, forcemains, stabilization ponds, large diameter pipe, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, facility planning / engineering reports and operation and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program with at least one year of post-secondary education complete prior to the start of the internship. OR Pursuit of Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Surveying Science Technology with at least one year of post-secondary education complete prior to the start of the internship.

An LBNF/DUNE, SD intern is an undergraduate engineering student majoring in an engineering field who is interested in working at a major underground construction project. Eligible students must be enrolled in a four-year college or university in the United States. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain experience and understanding of infrastructure design, underground construction, project management, and international collaboration. The intern will work on a wide variety of projects with the Building and Site Infrastructure (BSI), Integration and Installation (I&I), and Surveying and Alignment teams by overseeing and documenting construction progress, supporting procurement and management activities, assisting in the layout and design of facility and experiment infrastructure, developing plans for underground installation, and assisting with surveying and field layout of ongoing installations. In the field, interns will provide engineering support for material movement to and around the underground space, installation of temporary power systems, installation of cryogenic piping, and conducting as-built checks to components as they are installed. In the office, interns will assist with designing structures to support scientific equipment, create layouts for cryogenic piping and electrical conduit, work with the install team to develop plans for the installation of complex structures, and collaborate with scientists and engineers across the world to ensure the needs of the experiment are being met. The selected interns will work under the direct mentorship of a BSI or I&I engineer. The selected candidate(s) work directly under the mentorship of an LBNF FSCF employee.

The ideal candidate is a strong energetic communicator with the ability to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn, and possess the flexibility to adapt to what each day brings with a positive attitude. This is a part-time, paid position that will be required to work all Canaries home games from May 18th to September 26th and reports to the Director of Sales and Ticketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Runs Will Call or ticket booth before/during game
Assists with set up and take down of ticket booth and Will Call before and after each home game
Becomes well versed with the ticketing system, ticket prices, ballpark, and inventory to answer any questions fans have
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized
Availability for all Canaries home games including extended hours on weeknights and weekends
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
Able to work well under pressure
Comfortable interacting with larger crowds
Effective verbal communication
