The Student Surgical Technologist Intern provides direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the appropriate setting across the continuum of care. They communicate with the surgical staff about instrumentation, surgical procedures, and sterility. The student surgical technologist intern is able to scrub alongside a certified surgical technologist. This experience is intended for students who will graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program within the next academic year. The Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) responsibilities and Code of Ethics provide a basis for practice.
Summer ST Experience (June 1 - August 7, 2026)

Objectives:
Apply the principles of aseptic technique while in the sterile role.
Further develop the practical skills required to work as a competent surgical technologist in the perioperative environment.
Attain the professional skills of interpersonal communication with all patients and interdisciplinary health care team members.

Qualifications:
Student must be in good standing in a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program, having completed a minimum of one-semester of surgical technology program curriculum. Student must possess basic knowledge and hands-on skills related to aseptic surgical techniques used in the preparation of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association and must not expire during internship.
Candidates must be able to work from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong preference for at least 100 clinical hours by internship start date. Adapts to unpredictable situations within the perioperative setting. Proven ability to communicate with a variety of people in a direct, empathetic, and articulate manner. Comprehensive understanding of surgical processes and procedures preferred.

Girls on the Run Minnesota is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community-based organization. This spring, our 1,000+ volunteer coaches will mentor more than 3,500 young girls (3rd through 8th graders) with an 8-week, 16-lesson curriculum that is research based and combines training for a 5K with social and emotional life skill building. Issue Island Passport Club cards for club members
Be knowledgeable about and provide guests with information regarding Island Passport Club membership, property-wide events and other property amenities
Redeem cash, prizes and comps for guests following department guidelines
Meet goals as established by management
Maintain a working knowledge of promotional systems
Perform point and promotion adjustments following department guidelines
Assisting with and provide support for Passport Club booth for outdoor shows and events
Assisting Passport Club Supervisors with scheduling
Participate in the interview and selection process for new Island Passport Club Representatives
Assist in creating and maintaining the training manual

Required:

Regions Hospital is seeking an individual with strong social work experience and the ability to maintain effective working relationships to join our Daybridge Mental Health program in a Program Specialist position. In this position you will work under direct supervision by an LICSW to provide psychosocial and psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and referral, to clients and families at DayBridge Partial Hospitalization Program using a full range of social work treatment modalities. The Program Specialist provides care to clients experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorders and their families by providing therapeutic programming, implementing safety care plans, reviewing individualized client treatment goals and utilizing trauma informed de-escalation skills for client safety and milieu management. To provide education to other health care professionals in the psychosocial aspects of patient care. To perform other duties as assigned.
