ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Will maintain the CFS/ICWA working database, updating on a regular basis, while preserving and protecting the database.
Acts as a liaison between State and Tribal during child welfare proceedings and subsequent transfer of jurisdiction.
Acts as a qualified expert witness for clients when requested.
Will be responsible to complete and submit any reports to applicable courts, agencies, and programs as directed.
Schedules and participates in Family Team Meetings with all families.
Works closely with the tribal CFS/ICWA staff and other tribal programs to ensure supportive services are available for the CFS/ICWA children and families.
Works closely with the DHHS departments and other outside agencies to ensure supportive services are available for the CFS/ICWA children and families.
Works closely with the Family Resource Specialist to obtain information for possible placements when needed.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Grain Originator Intern Include:
Learn and Assist with Grain Origination Procure grain from local producers and call on new accounts.
Learn and observe working with producers, updating them on market trends, current grain quotes, grain programs, and forming marketing plans.
Assist with reporting and entering all purchasing contracts quickly & accurately.
Partner with the elevator and office staff in the exchange of information to enhance the company grain objectives.
Provide excellent customer service and work well with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
Learn the basics of how a grain elevator merchandises grain (Basis, Futures, Spreads).
Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Understand DOT placarding and DOT hazardous rules
Assist in grain operations duties: loading trucks, clearing ground around the facility etc.
Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on grain equipment and property

Work Environment:
This position is based in a fast-paced agricultural setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally may be loud. PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and including weekends and holidays during peak season.
Physical Demands:
While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time. The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. Position Summary
