As a Commercial Lending/Loan Review Intern, you will get exposure to the different functional areas of Commercial Lending/Loan Review. Duties & Responsibilities:
Loan Review
* Assist with the analysis of various types of credit information on a variety of loan types, including but not exclusive to large, complex entities as well as non-profit entities.
* Assist with efficiently preparing accurate financial statement spreads and narrative analysis consistent with departmental procedures and credit policy.
* Assist with assessing and comparing the attributes of a credit relationship to loan risk rating definitions and providing a well-supported rating recommendation
* Assist with compiling information for various reporting requirements of the Loan Review function.
* Assist an analyst in conducting an audit
* Assist an analyst with an annual review
Commercial Lending
* Assist in analyzing an applicant's financial status, credit, and asset evaluation to determine feasibility of loan requests
* Assist in the preparation of new loan proposals within loan policy.
* Assist in championing a loan opportunity through the approval process, including attending various loan committees with the account officer
* Assist in managing loan portfolios via assisting the commercial lender with renewal, modifications, covenant monitoring, etc.
