This is a paid internship that is part of Heaven Hill's Summer Internship Program (running May-August). The role is based at our Louisville Office.
As part of the Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program, you will support organizational strategic goals through hands-on project work and high-impact assignments. Our program is designed to provide meaningful experience, professional development, cross-functional exposure, networking opportunities, facility tours, and intern engagement events throughout the summer.
What the Role Is
The Public Relations Intern supports the Brand Public Relations team in elevating visibility, storytelling, and reputation across the Heaven Hill portfolio of brands. Reporting to a member of the Brand PR team, this role will gain exposure to PR strategy development, media relations, influencer engagement, and cross-functional brand marketing initiatives.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
Assisting with drafting press materials including pitches, media lists, briefing documents, and talking points.
Conducting media monitoring to track brand coverage, sentiment, and industry trends.
Supporting media outreach efforts by researching journalists, publications, and relevant PR opportunities.
Help with organizing assets for PR campaigns including product samples, imagery, messaging documents, and campaign trackers.
Coordinating logistics for media mailers, events, sponsorships, and brand activations.
Assisting with influencer vetting, outreach, tracking, and reporting.
Updating internal databases, PR calendars, and project documentation.
Participating in PR team meetings, brand status calls, and brainstorm sessions.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners including Brand Marketing, Creative Services, and Corporate Communications.
Additional responsibilities and project-based assignments as determined by the Brand PR team.
Professional Development
Prepare and present findings and recommendations to internal teams throughout the internship.
Deliver a final presentation to the Executive Leadership Team summarizing your project work and key learnings.
Participate in developmental workshops, networking opportunities, and cross-functional exposure events.

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Forklift Opr PR04 - Freezer Warehouse Worker - Full-Time
Starting Pay: $17.95/HR and a shift differential of $1.50/HR for 2nd shift.
Unload finished product and raw materials from trucks and receive in-bound product from plant floor. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory in designated area and assure proper rotation of product by manufacture or Use/Freeze by date. Pick stage and record code dates of finished products. Load finished products onto trucks.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Unload raw materials and finished goods from trucks.
Move raw materials and finished goods to warehouse storage.
Ensure proper rotation of all products and raw materials.
Pick finished goods and sample goods per order forms.
Assure that oldest finished products by manufacture date or “FIFO” First In First Out Method.
Record quantities picked and code dates on Picking Tickets.
Make sure all out-bound trailers are clean before loading.
Make sure out-bound trailers cooling units are set to the proper temperature.
Verify unit count of all items loaded.
Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
Report all damages to supervisor.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Operate forklift, pallet jacks and yard trucks.
Unload in-bound raw materials and finished goods as directed by supervisor.
Complete receiving documentation on all in-bound and returned product that is unloaded.
Rotate and clean finished goods coolers/freezers daily.
Communicate with operators from other shifts.
Clean and maintain work area.
Other duties as assigned.
This role will involve heavy physical labor, such as walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and working in sub-freezing temperatures for long periods.
Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
Forklift certification upon hire.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Recent interns have come from a variety of areas of study, from biology to government, and have been undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall and spring semester interns are often students interning part-time while attending local colleges such as Georgetown University, George Washington University, The Catholic University of America, and the Pontifical John Paul II Institute. Summer semester interns have joined us during their academic breaks from Princeton, U.C. Berkeley, Stanford, Colgate, Samford, and Purdue.
As part of the program at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, interns have the opportunity to foster their personal and professional growth by participating in various activities in our nation's capitol. These include attending meetings and press conferences with prominent pro-life leaders and members of Congress.
In addition, interns may attend seminars and workshops highlighting the role of government, policy, and related topics in the pro-life movement. They leave these seminars and workshops armed with a new knowledge which they can bring back to their campuses or apply to their professional expertise. Interns also have an opportunity to attend social gatherings to network and connect with other D.C. interns with whom they can share these experiences in our nation's capitol.
Intern Responsibilities
The interns are responsible for a variety of duties at SBA. Their time is partly devoted to assisting in the day-to-day operations of our organization where they are expected to complete typical daily administrative support. They are also involved in larger departmental projects such as political and legislative research, fundraising, and communications.
Requirements
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America requires interns to be self-starters with good communication skills. They must be able to balance multiple demands and work with shifting priorities and deadlines. As interns, they should be equally comfortable working as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the internship program start date, and must be able to commit to the full internship term to be eligible. Additionally, applicants must be recent graduates or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution).
