Rob first served as CEO, then Chairman and Chief Software Architect, for Channel Intelligence (CI), a company he co-founded in 1999 and sold to Google in early 2013. Wight led the development of the products and services that built CI into one the world’s leading e-commerce technology providers, relied on by over 200 manufacturer and retailer customers across every product vertical and managing millions of product transactions valued at over $3 billion. Prior to Channel Intelligence, Wight was recognized as one of the 20 most influential people in the storage software business, having held senior positions driving innovative software systems development at key technology corporations including Microsoft, Wang Labs, Avail Systems, Seagate Software, Conner Software Products, Archive Software and Maynard Electronics. He was a 2004 finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Florida Award. Wight is an accomplished triathlete, successfully completing Six Ironmans, in addition to numerous of 70.3 and Olympic-distance triathlons and many full and half marathons. Rob Wight has been married for 32 years to Risa Wight (also an IRONMAN athlete), and has 3 children: Alex, Maddie, and Nick. The family makes their home in Celebration, FL.
