Reporting to the Plant Quality Specialist, you'll support food safety and quality programs within the Quality Department. You'll be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Under guidance of the Plant Quality Specialist, you'll manage multiple priorities while collaborating cross-functionally to strengthen the food safety system.
Responsibilities:
Help with designing and implementation of processes and procedures.
Participate on cross functional teams to assure implementation and adherence of QA projects and process improvement of our suppliers.
Support food safety and quality programs by performing receiving verifications, maintaining traceability systems, and ensuring compliance with pest control and environmental monitoring requirements.
Conduct routine cross-checks, calibrations, and documentation reviews to verify accuracy of quality processes and regulatory standards.
Assist in training program administration and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen plant-wide quality and compliance practices
Gather and study data to understand trends and issues to support in continuous improvement activities.
Provide data-driven insight in managing situations and issues relative to quality or food safety.
Provide support to appropriate functions and employees to assure regulatory compliance, food safety and quality of our products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Food, Biological or Chemical Science or related field required.
1 + years' experience
Experience with safety, quality systems, manufacturing processes and technologies
Experience writing and presenting reports
Data analysis, and investigative skills required.

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Master Electrician:
* Implement basic lighting designs and support the upkeep and development of repertory plots. Create magic sheets for all spaces.
* Maintain and update all lighting documentation, including DMX addressing, digital files, and technical archives. Track inventory of lighting equipment.
* Diagnose and repair lighting equipment, fixtures, and cabling.
* Perform regular maintenance, including dimmer checks, relamping, and annual bench focuses of incandescent fixtures. Follow OSHA, USITT, and ESTA safety standards and ensure compliance with fire, accessibility, and performance venue codes.
* Clean, document, and maintain all fixtures to support fire and electrical safety protocols under the direction of the Technical Director.
* Assist with the upkeep and troubleshooting of lighting networks across Heritage Center venues.
* Support the Technical Director in hiring and managing a qualified pool of student employees.
Production Technician:
* Set up events in Strosacker Theatre and Presbyterian Hall as assigned by the Technical Director or the production calendar, and supervise student staff during setups.
* Support various internal and external campus events by assisting with load-in, rehearsals, performances, and strike.
Lighting Designer:
* When assigned a lighting design: review the script or project and create a design that supports the production's concept, collaborating with theatre, dance, or music faculty as needed.
* Lead the hang and focus for each production's lighting rig in Strosacker Theatre.
* Research design concepts for each production and communicate them to the design team through renderings, sketches, or other visual media.
* Create cue documentation and program the lighting console for each show.
* Prepare purchase lists for lighting design needs.
* Attend all production meetings and all cue-to-cues, dry techs, and wet techs as the lighting designer.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in theatre, technical production, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and four years of professional experience.

* Proficient knowledge of theatrical lighting systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
Required
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

* Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, etc.).
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
* Familiarity with welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, or equivalent).
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred
* AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification.
* Experience with NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT).
* Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
* Computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Position Summary
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in supporting and maintaining our IATF 16949-certified quality management system while promoting a culture of excellence across all operations. This position acts as the primary liaison for customer quality activities, manages corrective action processes, and supports the implementation of quality best practices throughout production and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure ongoing compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA), 8D investigations, and corrective actions for internal and customer quality issues.
Manage quality alerts, customer sorts, and tracking of quality performance metrics.
Develop, update, and maintain FMEAs, control plans, PPAP submissions, and related documentation.
Work directly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers (GM, Stellantis, Magna, etc.) to meet and exceed quality performance requirements.
Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement robust and effective quality controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements and core automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC).
Experience supporting OEM/Tier 1 quality systems for major automotive customers.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues.
