Works directly with Engineering Manager to create engineering change requests (ECN) as non-conformances are found. Works directly with Project Managers to update product quality and completeness of orders. Recommends to Plant Management modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in production. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees and evaluating work performance. Pay will be $18.00 per hour and this position will be working a Monday - Thursday 6am-5:30pm, Fridays 6a-2:30p schedule with possible weekend overtime. Duties/Qualifications: Comfort with all areas of a machine shop and an understanding of fabrication/machining. Must be able to read micrometers & calipers, have decent math skills and are familiar with metric conversions. Knowledge of how things fit together and work and ability to interpret drawings and prints. Previous QC experience is preferred. Able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
