The Quality Control Lead will ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements and work with the site management to make these systems consistent, practical, and cost effective. What you will do: * Lead and manage the QC team to maintain accurate and functional quality records, instructions, and manuals in compliance with FSSC22000 and NonGMO standards. Ensure records are readily retrievable. * Lead the QC team to produce precise, accurate and timely test data and act as the technical expert on QC expectations for plant personnel. * Monitor and approve products and investigate analytical discrepancies as required, to ensure that only products that meet company, customer and regulatory specifications are released. * Monitor and analyze all finished product and in-process data that is entered in SAP and ensure their timely completion. * Direct the operation of the plant QC team to ensure the timely and proper release of products based on effective sampling and accurate and appropriate testing using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all safety requirements. Ensure SAP data is up to date and that relevant business processes are followed. * Work with operations and quality assurance to understand current demands on laboratory services. Ensures that non-routine testing is prioritized and performed in a timely manner. * Provide customers, technical sales and plant operations with timely technical support related to our products including root cause investigation of customer complaints, product failures and analytical service requests from customers.
