Qualifications Key Responsibilities: • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all spare parts, tools, and supplies; ensure inventory is well-organized, regularly updated, and stored safely. • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to maintain optimal inventory; track parts usage and adjust minimum/maximum stock levels accordingly. • Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of spare parts to ensure they meet quality standards and are as per order specifications. • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, and follow up on deliveries. • Issuing Parts: Distribute and document spare parts to maintenance and production teams as requested, ensuring accurate records are kept. • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, and part usage for auditing and inventory purposes. • Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory status, part usage trends, and any issues or discrepancies. • Health & Safety: Follow company safety procedures for handling and storing inventory; maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Support Maintenance Team: Assist the maintenance team in locating parts, provide backup assistance in managing urgent repair needs, and participate in annual physical inventory checks. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional training in inventory management or logistics (preferred). • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with inventory management software or systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems). • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical parts used in manufacturing equipment. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments. • Ability to lift and move parts, sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
