Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology OR in lieu of the Bachelor's degree, High School diploma and minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology and hands-on technical role
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development (languages, systems and frameworks such as Spring/Java, Encryption/Tokenization frameworks, ReactJS, RDBMS and NoSQL Databases)
Demonstrated expertise in architecting and developing products that safeguard sensitive data using advanced encryption and decryption techniques.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing custom tokenization and de-tokenization algorithms ensuring protection of data.
Proven expertise in developing secure software systems leveraging cryptographic algorithms such as Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), RSA, and AES, as well as designing proprietary tokenization solutions.
Experience in implementing and optimizing scheduling algorithms, including priority-based and rate-momentum scheduling techniques.
Minimum 2 years of experience working on or leading teams performing systems automation and integration (in an agile methodology and/or using lean techniques preferred)

The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

About This Role
This isn't a traditional engineering role where you'll receive detailed specifications and build to order. We're looking for someone who digs into problems firsthand-someone who asks "why" until they truly understand what's broken, then builds the solution themselves.

What You'll Do
You'll use AI tools-particularly Claude Code and the Claude platform-to build solutions that solve real problems in mortgage lending. Not proofs of concept. Real tools that people use every day.
Examples of problems you might tackle:
Loan conditions arrive from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and FHA in different formats. Loan officers spend hours reconciling them. Build something that consolidates and deduplicates them automatically.
Underwriters spend significant time on tasks that could be automated, but "that's how it's always been done." Identify which tasks, understand why, and build the automation.
Compliance requirements evolve constantly. Build systems that can adapt without requiring lengthy development cycles.
You won't always be handed a clear spec. You'll often be handed a problem-sometimes a vague one-and expected to dig in until you understand it well enough to solve it.
What We're Looking For
Required:
You can build working software. You don't need a team of engineers to ship something useful. Claude Code, Python, JavaScript, APIs-you're comfortable getting hands-on.
You go deep on problems. When someone says "we need a dashboard," you ask what decision they're trying to make. When they say "it takes too long," you ask how long, why, and what happens as a result.
You're persistent. You don't hear "that's not possible" and stop there. You get curious and look for another way.
You communicate well across audiences. Executives, loan officers, underwriters, compliance teams-you can work with all of them effectively.

What We're Looking For
5‑10 years experience as an engineer in the application development, devops, or CI/CD space.
Extensive experience with solutions selling in a technical customer‑facing role, such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or similar position, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
Strong proficiency in CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices, software configuration, and scripting languages like Python, Shell, etc.
Knowledge of Docker or Linux containers in general.
Outstanding presentation skills. You feel comfortable leading presentations and demos of our platform to groups, both technical and non‑technical, in‑person and virtually.
Proven track record of engaging with enterprise clients, understanding their technical requirements, and delivering solutions that drive customer success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as lead software engineer in defining technical specifications and development requirements that result in high performing technologies.
Collaborate closely with business support teams to assist in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest and technology and automation adapt and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation continuous integration and continuous delivery in everything we do.
Develop and enhance product and or applications with limited direction to solve business problems of medium complexity by keeping customer experience at the forefront.
Support Epicor kinetic ERP platform by understanding underlying business processes to identify needed development and customizations.
Requires continuous updating of knowledge through self-study, self-discovery, tutorials, and classes.
Communicate difficult concepts providing technical and professional interpretations and recommendations.
Key Measures of Success:
Ability to interact with customers internal and external with a focus on customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
Able to understand and interpret business processes as it relates to the customer's needs.
Understand manufacturing processes and value stream mapping.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Five years of programming experience
Proven experience as a .net developer
Familiarity with the asp.net framework .Net Core, SQL Server and design/architectural pattens (e.g. Model-view-Controller (MVC))
Knowledge of at least one of the .Net Languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic, .Net)
Familiarity with architecture stles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud
Preferred - Epicor Kinetic ERP Support Experience.
