Job Description:
At Regions, the Technology, Data, and Digital Risk Group Manager role is responsible for leading a team of first line of defense risk management experts that advise Technology, Operations, Digital Data (TODD) on Information Technology (IT) and Data business decisions and associated risks. This role is vital to ensuring consistent execution of risk programs and strategies to ensure effective and proactive risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring. This position will report directly to the Head of Enterprise Operations and Technology Risk.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures delivery of timely and high-quality risk management support to the Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics functions within TODD.
Drives consistent execution of Risk Management programs, including frameworks, reporting, policies, and standards across Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics teams.
Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to partners across TODD in the development of and adherence to IT and data policies and standards.
Advises and ensures the effective implementation of controls and risk mitigation strategies across all aspects of Information Technology, including application development, cyber security, enterprise architecture, business resilience and change management.
Assists partners across TODD in the development and ongoing management of business process maps, including the identification of key risks, controls and applicable regulations.
Collaborates to ensure risks and controls across Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics domains are adequately documented in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management policies and standards.
Identifies, monitors, and reports key and emerging operational and compliance risks through review and testing of controls within the IT and Data environment.
Advises on strategic plans, prioritization, and the development and implementation of new and changing technology initiatives within TODD to ensure IT risk and control impacts are appropriately considered and evaluated
Conducts routine monitoring and oversight of IT and Data risk across TODD and provides recommendations and challenge as necessary
Develops Key Risk (KRIs) and Key Control (KCIs) Indicators and dashboards to support the monitoring of TODD's risk profile across all Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics domains.
Guides the design and execution of targeted risk assessments and root cause analyses as needed
Ensures a consistent and effective approach to managing risk and control issues through the issue management lifecycle, in alignment with Risk Management policies and standards
Partners with the Data & Analytics Office to ensure effective controls and monitoring are in place for data quality, integrity and privacy and supports the implementation of strong data governance practices.
Serves as the primary liaison with the Information Technology Risk Management team (2LOD) within Operational Risk Management and Internal Audit to ensure clear accountability and alignment in risk activities
Provides regulatory exam and audit support for Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics partners
Provides project management of multiple initiatives while adhering to deadlines
Leads and develops a team of high performing and collaborative Technology and Data Risk associates
Builds a trusting and collaborative team culture that is equipped with knowledge and training to partner, advise and effectively manage risks within appetite
Creates a coaching environment that consists of regular informal and formal feedback
Obtains and maintains necessary training to keep current on the discipline of risk management
Solves a range of complex problems and consistently provide solutions
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Twelve (12) years of related experience
Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience
Advanced understanding of risk management functions, including IT audit, cyber security, and compliance
Preferences
Master's degree in related field
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or other applicable certifications

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. The Commercial Credit Lead plays a vital role in assessing and managing credit risk for commercial clients at M&T Bank. Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate the credit needs of customers by underwriting new requests and material modifications from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan. This analysis may include recommending adding or removing conditions.
Manage the ongoing credit risk of existing loan portfolios through continuous credit monitoring (CCM) activities enabling the timely identification of emerging credit risk so that appropriate actions can be taken to manage the risk, minimize losses and assign an accurate risk rating. A CCM program includes but is not limited to annual reviews (and PLRs and Guarantor Assessments), interim update memos, a covenant monitoring program, problem loan management, early warning indicators, and other forms of credit surveillance. Review all pertinent credit and financial information, including but not limited to financial statements, tax returns, due diligence reports, credit bureaus, appraisals, internal credit information, industry research and peer data. Determine the need for more thorough investigation or additional information, and coordinate gathering of such information.
Analyze financial information and related materials and complete the credit analyses for the Bank's commercial transactions. Written analyses to include an independent credit quality assessment with well-supported risk rating, identification of and description of credit risks and mitigants, industry concerns, market trends, financial trends, and other pertinent credit issues of respective deals.
Make appropriate structure recommendations based on an analysis and evaluation of scenarios including the company's case, bank's base case and a downside case.
As part of managing the ongoing credit risk of existing portfolios, identify suspicious activity and activity that may be contrary to customer's interest.
Partner proactively with relationship managers, and be intimately involved throughout the deal process, from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan to maintain timely and accurate risk ratings for a portfolio of commercial credits.
Spread financial statements and prepare financial models designed to sensitize various conditions impacting the proposed transaction.
Prepare cash flow, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, financial models, and guarantor statement analysis as appropriate.
Attend client/prospect calls with RMs to gain a thorough understanding of the client/prospect and their business to effectively analyze and underwrite the proposed transaction. Based on underwriting parameters, recommend the risk rating.
Prepare summary, present facts, and offers opinions concerning creditworthiness.
Propose the structure of loan requests, where appropriate, to include suggestions on terms, conditions, collateral, and guarantors.
Displays deep understanding of financial regulatory environment as it applies to underwriting most forms of commercial credit transactions.
Ensure credit policy compliance by verifying adherence of underwriting to the Commercial Credit Policy, and evaluating any risk associated with non-compliance.
Present analysis or address questions during credit request discussions or committee presentations.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Scope of Responsibilities:

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion and certification of the Branch Manager Readiness program is a pre-requisite to transition into a manager role, based on branch vacancy. **Job Description:**
At Regions, the Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaged, operationally sound, and high performing team dedicated to improving the financial wellness of our customers. This position acts as a player and coach, oversees branch operations, directly manages associate performance, and provides guidance as needed to ensure associates are helping customers reach their financial goals by understanding and meeting customer needs. Branch Managers are expected to drive branch performance results through strong individual sales performance in addition to ensuring the team meets and exceeds branch sales, quality, and service goals while maintaining an operationally efficient and compliant branch.

**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Leads a small team of branch associates responsible for contributing to new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutions
+ Conducts outside sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new business clients while also maintaining and expanding existing consumer and business banking relationships
+ Educates associates, customers, and surrounding communities about best practices to achieve and maintain financial wellness in addition to emerging bank technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier
+ Coaches and develops branch associates through execution of iConnect - the Region's Sales, Service and Coaching process, with considerable guidance from assigned mentor, senior level managers and internal support partners
+ Provides consistent and timely coaching and guidance to associates to assist with strengthening their product knowledge and identifying customer needs
+ Educates and advises customers on Regions Consumer and Business products and services, including all loan and deposit types in addition to assisting with annuities and life insurance
+ Ensures a consistent optimal customer experience, including handling customer's transactional needs as needed. This may include sharing responsibility for greeting customers and processing transactions to ensure customers bank when, where, and how the customer wants
+ Resolves escalated customer and associate issues and provides counseling to associates as needed in partnership with senior leadership and Human Resources
+ Manages recruiting and selection process for assigned branch
+ Maintains relationships with Line of Business partners and refers customers to an internal team of experts when additional complex financial goals and needs are recognized
+ Follows all bank policies, processes, procedures, and internal audit requirements and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including completing individual duties specific to the role of Branch Manager, and ensures all associates in the branch complete their delegated operational risk management duties as assigned; as a member of the branch team, ensures sound banking practices, including managing, identifying, and reporting operational risks
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.

**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Two (2) years of Financial Services, sales, or sales management experience
+ Expected to obtain an active Life Insurance License within first twelve (12) months and maintain continuing education for licensing requirements
+ Ability to work on Saturday as needed
**Preferences**
+ College degree
+ Life Insurance License
+ Supervisory experience within the Financial Services industry
+ Five (5) years of banking and/or lending experience
+ Five (5) years of relationship-based client consultation experience
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Ability to exhibit mastery of key advice, guidance, and education concepts
+ Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
+ Ability to provide effective feedback and guidance
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
