Job Duties:
- The Special Research Intern provides research, advice, and consulting regarding complex biomedical topics such as biomedical research and clinical trials on various natural curatives, homeopathic treatments, and substances.
- This position involves researching and reporting on uses of psychedelics and/or hallucinogens like Psilocybin, Ibogaine, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), Mescaline, 3-methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxyamphetamine (MMDA or Ecstasy), and other substances, to treat various emotional, psychological, or medical disorders.
- You may be asked to establish and maintain quality contacts with external pharmacological, psychological, neurological, and medical professionals and sources.
- You may be a public-facing member of the team.
- You will be called to visit medical facilities, scientific facilities, and higher education research laboratories, to work contact researchers, medical professionals, and subject matter experts across multiple topics such as the safety and efficacy of marijuana, psilocybin, and ibogaine, to treat various medical, psychological, and neurological conditions.

A grant funded Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics on the Glendale campus of Midwestern University. Assist physicians in data search and analysis for research studies.
