Trays of the pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray. PUSHING: Pushing is performed to move trays which are placed in dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24" - 30" and requires a 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled. CLIMBING: Team Members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance. STOOPING/BENDING: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their kneeswhile standing at the station. Duration of this position is approximately 30-45 seconds at one time, repeated continuoslsy during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stacking ingredients. CROUCHING /SQUATTING: Perfomed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. REACHING: Reaching is performed continuosly; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72" occasionaly to turn on'off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones. HAND TASKS: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities requiere use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrist. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using rolling cutter. Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardborad pizza boxes. Team members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and the pizza peel, and pizza boxes. MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, WORK AIDS: Team members may be required to utilize pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel. JOB DUTIES: Deliver product by car and thhen to door of customer. Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials. REQUIERES: Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards. Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. Pharmaron San Diego is seeking a motivated In Vivo Research Associate (I, II, or III) to join our growing Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Preclinical team. This role offers hands-on involvement in cutting-edge in vivo CGT studies, supporting the development of next-generation therapies.
You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment alongside scientists, veterinarians, and study teams, contributing directly to high-quality preclinical research while expanding your technical and surgical skill set.
Depending on your level of experience, I, II, or III Additional tasks:
Administer test articles via approved routes, including oral gavage and parenteral methods (SQ, IM, IP, ID, IV, dermal) in both rodent and large animal models.
Perform BAL fluid collection, intubation, catheter placements, biopsies, and skin excisions
Conduct surgical procedures including incisions and wound creation
Perform necropsies and tissue collection
Handle, restrain, and care for laboratory animals across multiple species
Monitor animals under anesthesia and during post-operative recovery
Observe animals for general health, wellbeing, and clinical signs
Execute study activities in compliance with GLPs, study protocols, SOPs, and company policies
Prepare study materials including room setup and collection tube labeling
Review documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance
Interface with Study Directors, Principal Investigators, QA/QC, and cross-functional teams
Maintain accurate records in internal systems including eQCM, Provantis, and Vivarium+
Support internal research initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts
Perform aseptic techniques and other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
In Vivo Research Associate I: Associate degree in veterinary technology with 1-2 years of experience, or BS with 1 year of experience.
In Vivo Research Associate II: Associate degree in veterinary technology with 3 years relevant experience, or BS with 2 years of experience.
In Vivo Research Associate III: Associate degree in veterinary technology with 4 years relevant experience, or BS with 3 years of experience.
A combination of education and relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is highly desired, particularly for candidates with anesthesia, surgical support, or cell and gene therapy experience.
Prior experience in cell and gene therapy, in vivo models, or preclinical research.
Working knowledge of animal handling, dosing techniques, clinical observations, and specimen collection.
Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to follow strict regulatory procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Lead all laboratory activities and functions within the Microbiology Laboratory. Main responsibility consists of the testing of the routine external PCDs (Product Challenge Devices) used for the in-house steam and ethylene oxide sterilization processes, including the generation of any applicable test method and other related documents needed for the laboratory and any associated testing, IQ/OQ of all laboratory equipment, and routine monitoring of all temperature-controlled incubators and refrigerator. Take a proactive role in supporting the manufacturing team, provide internal customer support, and build a high level of trust with internal customers and MV personnel. Support any non-conformance investigation activities. Job duties:
+ Responsible for routine finished product sterility testing of steam and ethylene oxide external PCDs, including the tracking status of all testing within the laboratory.
+ Must interpret and apply specifications and test procedures when carrying out monitoring and testing responsibilities.
+ Responsible for the general cleanliness and appearance of the Micro Lab by keeping laboratory equipment, supplies, and overall environment in good operational status.
+ May prepare media reagents, testing materials, and equipment as required.
+ Responsible for ordering and maintaining materials, and supplies.
+ Record data in controlled company forms, validated spreadsheets, and build records.
+ May be required to work on special projects such as investigations and non-routine testing.
+ Maintain neat and legible records.
+ Follow cGMPs, GLPs, SOPs, USP, and FDA guidelines in all appropriate functions and notify management of any observed discrepancies in laboratory.
