Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of consumer(s) history, skills, vulnerabilities, support plans and emergency procedures
Record keeping, reporting requirements and maintaining confidentiality
Ability to create and follow ITP plans set up for clients and uses creative ways to encourage participation
Effectively assist clients and train in areas such as symptom management, employment, budgeting, organizing, medical appointments scheduling, and meal planning.
Objectively and professionally document progress with the client at the end of your shift
Providing assistance with paperwork that is pertinent to continuation of services, such as Social Security paperwork
Provide support and supervision as defined in each ITP plan, using therapeutic interventions, while ensuring consumer safety
Assisting with setting up transportation services or learning how to utilize public transportation
Regularly travel in the community and transporting recipients
Qualifications for All IRTS Staff:
Ability to multitask and strong communicator
Enjoys conducting groups and is an effective team member
Ability to pass MVR, maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and maintain background study clearance
Prior IRTS Experience Preferred

**SIGN ON BONUS**
This job is located in Dilworth, MN and would require relocation to the Fargo Moorhead area.
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with our 245G Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Program Policy and Procedure Manual.
Ensure compliance with Department of Human Services (DHS) 245G Statutes including timely documentation completion, clinical thoroughness and accurate billing for services provided. Conduct chart audits as requested.
Understand the Grievance Policy to assist clients in navigating the process to resolve grievances at the lowest level in a timely manner and document accordingly.
Maintain knowledge of and apply American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria. Appropriately diagnose clients using the DSM -5.Provide screening and assessment through SUD Evaluations/Assessments and required documentation.
Provide intake and orientation to programming and required documentation.
In conjunction with the client, create and monitor an individualized treatment plan based on client's needs, language, reading skills, cultural background and strengths.

Due to the challenging nature of this work, staff receive training in behavioral support and crisis response, including the use of manual restraints when necessary.

General Description
Counselors are responsible for the day-to-day care and supervision of students. Counselors provide a constructive model for students to emulate, teach various coping and communication skills, physical and social skills, and help students develop cultural awareness and spiritual opportunities. These responsibilities are met through the counselor's involvement with students and through the creation of a living and learning environment that offers a variety of opportunities to serve/meet students' recreational, intellectual, social and emotional needs.
Qualifications

After completion of the annual review candidates can earn between 0-5% in salary increase based on performance each year.
