1923

The Republic of Turkey's first political party, founded in 1923.

1931

At the third party congress in May 1931 the six principles of Kemalism were symbolized in the form of six arrows.

The 1931 convention was a turning point for the RPP and for Turkey itself.

1935

In 1935 the RPP merged with the bureaucracy.

1937

In 1937 the six principles of Kemalism were incorporated into the constitution.

1938

In 1938, after Mustafa Kemal's death, his successor, Ismet Inönü, became the national leader.

1946

The end of one-party rule came in 1946, when the newly founded Democrat Party (DP) won all seats where its candidates were placed on the ballot.

1949

The new law in 1949 introduced secret balloting, open counting, and judicial supervision.

1950

On 14 May 1950 the Democrats won 53.3 percent of the popular vote and 83.8 percent of the parliamentary seats.

1960

In April 1960 the DP set up a parliamentary investigating committee that charged the opposition with subversive activities.

After a peaceful transfer of power, the two-party format lasted until 1960.

1965

The turning point in the history of the RPP occurred on the eve of the 1965 elections, when Inönü set forth the maxim "left of center" to describe the party's position.

1967

Bülent Ecevit was elected the party's general secretary in 1967.

1973

However, the election of 1973 brought the RPP only 33.3 percent of the vote, and the coalition governments headed by Ecevit did not last.

1977

The election of 1977 made the party, with 41.4 percent of the vote, the largest in the assembly, but the deadlock between the RPP and the main opposition party paralyzed the government.

1980

Civil strife, violence, and poor performance of coalition governments led to the third military coup, in September 1980.

With experience dating back to introduction of reusable containers in the 1980's.

1982

The new constitution of 1982 brought a ten-year ban on all former politicians, but political parties were allowed to reopen under their traditional names.

1995

RPP Infra Projects Ltd was incorporated on May 4 1995 as a private limited company with the name RPP Constructions Pvt Ltd.

1996

In the year 1996 the company acquired the business of RPP Builders a Partnership Firm on a going concern basis.

2002

In 2002, RPP (founded as Rohde Public Policy) was created by founding partner Sebastian Rohde.

2005

In 2005, RPP launches its bulk container recycling operation, buying back damaged and obsolete plastic bulk containers.

2006

In 2006, RPP changes its name to RPP Containers, with a renewed focus on being the destination for reusable plastic bulk containers.

2009

In 2009, RPP Containers expands to a larger state-of-the-art facility and increases production and distribution capabilities.

2010

In January 21 2010 the company was converted into public limited company and the name was changed to RPP Infra Projects Ltd.

2012

In 2012, RPP Containers introduces its online catalog to make the best choice easy for customers by providing the covenant 24/7 ordering and service.

2013

In 2013, RPP Containers celebrated 15 years of being the knowledge and service hub for reusable, plastic bulk containers.

2015

In 2015, RPP´s political communication was once again redesigned with the integration of RPP Visuals, based in Hamburg.

2016

In 2016 RPP formally expanded its public affairs offering, taking our expertise in policy creation and development gained working in the healthcare field for 14 years, and applying it to other areas where new technologies and services are transforming markets.

2018

In 2018, RPP Containers celebrated 20 years of being the knowledge and service hub for reusable, plastic bulk containers.

2019

In 2019, RPP Containers moved its operations into a new 123,000 square-foot headquarters in Evendale area of Cincinnati.

2022

Glance user base grows by 30% YoY to reach 183 million in Q1 2022
