The Terminal Manager is responsible for leading safe operations while delivering high service/quality and overall cost performance of the terminal. The Terminal Manager will interact with all levels of company personnel to collaboratively develop opportunities to reduce freight cost. This position is responsible to lead a team of Company Drivers and/or Owner Operators as well as terminal staff, in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Director, Region Operations. Essential Job Functions: * Manage, direct, and lead all functions within a terminal. Primary areas of accountability include: productivity, service, safety, CSA performance, loaded mile ratio, driver retention, working driver percentage, cost per dray management, and asset management * Responsible for the creation and implementation of an annual yearly business plan for the Terminal, along with Terminal strategies * Conduct monthly results reviews of all key accountability areas * Develop and deliver internal and external strategies to provide superior service to customers.
