Responsibilities: · Conduct regular site safety audits and document findings using Safety Reports software. · Provide coaching and on-site training to ensure teams are practicing safe work procedures in line with OSHA and Cooper Tacia policies. · Monitor the execution of high-risk activities, working alongside contractors to implement the best safety practices. · Represent Cooper Tacia's safety interests on-site, advocating for the highest standard of health and safety. · Investigate safety incidents as needed and assist in the development of corrective action plans. · Travel to job sites, including overnight or extended stays, based on project needs. · Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to Cooper Tacia's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures. Requirements:· OSHA 510/500 preferred. · Minimum 3+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and implementing hazard controls on construction sites.· Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage all levels of personnel in safety programs. · Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety standards. · Experience creating and evaluating Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), with a clear understanding of their differences and applications. · Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
