Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures the readiness of the company's primary and alternate Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) to respond to major emergencies through the training of EOC members, conducting drills and exercises, and maintaining the EOC manual and facilities.
Ensures company is an integral participant on various state/regional disaster recovery forums with emergency management representative from local/state governments, utilities, and other agencies to ensure external communication and coordination is established and maintained.
Provides coordination with public safety, and other emergency response agencies, during emergency operations and events. Provides for utility agency representation, or liaison, at incident command briefings or emergency operations centers where appropriate. May also request support from other departments to represent the company in cases where specific knowledge is required.
Conducts training and exercises to adequately test the integration and effectiveness of company emergency plans.
Supports company compliance with local and state regulatory requirements for emergency planning and response through internal coordination and Mutual Assistance Agreements.
Promotes employee emergency preparedness by identifying and providing to employees emergency preparedness guides and materials that will assist in their individual preparedness and allow them to be available to perform their duties at the company in event of an emergency/disaster.

Westat is currently seeking motivated individuals committed to excellence and experienced in working with primary and secondary school students to work as Assessment Administrators for the 2026 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) study. NAEP stands as the nation's most comprehensive, ongoing measure of student knowledge and skills, providing nationally representative insights into what U.S. students know and can achieve across a range of subject areas.
The primary role of the NAEP 2026 Assessment Administrator (AA) is to administer assessments in participating schools for grades 4, 8, and 12 in public and private schools. In addition to administering assessments, AAs assist with preparation and other assessment-related activities in collaboration with assessment coordinators (AC). AAs will be administering assessments using school devices. This includes collaborating with your team to install the NAEP application on school devices and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

**Basic Qualifications**
Candidates must:

This is a part-time, variable hour, non-exempt position. This position is not initially eligible for health insurance or a health savings account (HSA).
