Day to Day will include:
Handles high volume scheduling and customer service calls simultaneously.
Responsible for meeting facility(s) on the schedule KPIs
Schedules, edits and maintains facility calendar according to the facility goals.
Reconciliation of daily site schedule changes
Follows Scheduling policy and procedures.
Registers/updates new/existing patients into the EMR/RIS system
Schedule requested exam(s) according to referral/prescription form and site availability.
Follows the patient screening process.
Communicates patient related enquiries with referring sources.
Obtain and review patient authorization.
Collects patient demographic and insurance data enters/updates the EMR/RIS system.
Correct and complete assigned scheduling tasks by EOD daily
Confirms patients' insurance eligibility with insurance companies.
Completes insurance claim forms, submits claims to insurance companies.
Preform the closing statement; accordingly, how to prepare for the exam and Schedule requested exam(s) according to referral/prescription form and site availability & limitation.
In all circumstances, account notes /memo notes are required to be entered based on directions/documentation provided by management.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as needed.
Assures that all medical record information is protected and kept confidential; protects all medical record information from loss, defacing, or destruction before retention period ends.
Communicate with the direct manager about any issues.
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or manager.
Education/Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience, associate degree, or specialized training or equivalent
Minimum 2-year experience/knowledge in patient care/customer service
