This role involves maintaining a visible, professional presence; responding to incidents; and ensuring the safety of clients, staff, and the public. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities may vary by post and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), but generally include: Monitor property activity, manage access control, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, emergencies, or evacuations as needed. Apply de-escalation techniques and sound judgement in challenging situations. Conduct bag and metal detector screenings to enforce site policies and prevent prohibited items from entering the premises. Support responsible alcohol service by enforcing regulations and monitoring consumption to prevent over-service and maintain compliance with liquor laws. Utilize QR/NFC systems to verify patrols, monitor CCTV footage, and document incidents through approved security reporting tools. Maintain clear, detailed, and professional incident and activity reports in accordance with company and client standards. Communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors. Follow all site-specific SOPs, company policies, local laws and regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding site-related activities. Use technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software). Represent Precision Security Team with professionalism, integrity, and accountability always. Expected Starting Wage: Anticipated at $17 - $18.00, depending on experience. What You Will be Doing: The Security Officer at our client's site will roam and patrol job sites to help deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. Our company vehicles are equipped with cameras and monitoring technology; this ensures safe driving practices, regular location checks, compliance with company policies, and accurate reporting for clients. The position includes the following duties: * Provide excellent customer service to clients, colleagues, and patrons. * De-escalate and/or escort off the premises unruly patrons or unauthorized personnel. * Monitor and control access at entrances/exits and vehicle gates. * Identify, document, and report any unusual activity, violations, accidents, physical property damage, theft, or disturbances on site. * Prepare reports in electronic format. * Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel as needed. * Be familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures. * Effectively use proper radio protocols to communicate with leads, management, and other site officials and staff. * Must be familiar with and adhere to Use of Force statutes and regulations. * Follow all Code 4 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified on business needs. Requirements * A minimum of 18 or older. * High School Diploma/GED a plus. * Valid Driver License. * Security Experience preferred. * Military/First Responder experience is a plus. * Must possess effective written and oral communication skills. * Professional attitude and appearance. * Punctual and reliable. * Must consistently demonstrate emotional control, and good judgment in all situations, both escalated and complex in nature. * Work in various environments including elements (heat, rain, snow). * Able and willing to stand, walk, and run as needed. * Occasionally bend/twist to perform various duties. * Job site locations vary. Limited public transportation is available. Personal transportation is required.
