This position organizationally falls under the Kickapoo Gaming Commission of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma. Operational hours are seven (7) days per week hours, 24 hours daily including holidays; the selected incumbent will be assigned specific hours. The purpose of the Surveillance Operator position is to safeguard the assets of Kickapoo Casino by observing, monitoring and reporting on all gaming, non-gaming activities and any criminal activity. The Surveillance Operator will observe for possible violations of the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS), Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Gaming Ordinance Violations, and the Oklahoma Tribal Compact. Summary of Responsibilities: The Police Officer must be of high moral character and possess the personal integrity to handle the stress of the position. Gather information in criminal investigations by interviewing and obtaining the statements of victims, witnesses, suspects and confidential informers. Conduct visual and audio surveillance for extended periods of time. Detect and collect evidence and substances that provide the basis of criminal offenses and infractions which indicated the presence of dangerous conditions. Maintain and use efficiently all department issued equipment (i.e. weapon, vehicle and uniform) in a clean and functional fashion. Volunteer REPORTS TO Director of Safety & Security/ Chief of Police DEPARTMENT SNU Public Safety A sworn police officer who will assist in providing a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Southern Nazarene University. Provide proactive law enforcement services for unlawful activities on SNUs main campus or off-campus locations. Provide knowledge and experience from a law enforcement standpoint in collaboration with other university departments.
