Overview Surveillance Operator The Surveillance Operator's main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. Responsibilities Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily. What You'll Do: Perform access control duties at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to maintain security-related protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and/or potential hazards. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors with security-related concerns. Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to identify and report irregularities. Document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site-specific policies. Follow site-specific policies and procedures, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
