We are looking for a functional engineeringmanager to lead the Defense Logistics Engineering Group that is part of the Systems Engineering organization. This highly visible position is responsible for all aspects of Defense Logistics Engineering performance in support of all ES (Electronic Systems) Defense business areas, including the application of processes, tools, talent acquisition and development, and program performance. You will lead a group of 40 individuals and participate in a digital transformation that embraces model-based engineering, model based Product Support/Sustainment, DevSecOps, and agile development and aligns with the direction of the overarching BAE Systems engineering organization.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
+ Lead and grow a best-in-class team of Defense Logistics Engineering personnel that deliver excellent results
+ Cultivate engineering and operational excellence through best practices, agile practices, metrics and continuous learning
+ Partner with business area leaders and other functional managers to ensure business objectives and strategy are achieved

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree in engineering or related field that aligns with Acquisition Logistics and Sustainment Logistics with a minimum of 12 years of engineeringmanagement experience
+ Minimum of 5 years as a direct people manager with experience coaching, developing, rating, planning career growth for department personnel.
+ Understanding of government and industry Logistics related requirements in DoW and GEIA specifications and how to implement successful solutions that satisfy customer needs.
+ Broad understanding of the DoW product development and sustainment lifecycle
+ Knowledge of the DoW 12 Integrated Product Support Elements and how to implement their use
+ Experience with Product Support Analysis and Logistics Product Data e.g. LORA, LCC, Spares modeling, Provisioning, MTA, etc.
+ Proven track record of increasing responsibilities in managing organizations of significant complexity, including managing projects through all aspects of a products lifecycle from requirements thru development to sustainment and disposal

Raptor Scientific is now seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Production Manager and Systems Engineer to help lead the Thermal Systems business and be integral in executing the business and operational strategy. This position will directly support our MEDTHERM business unit, including in-office support at the company's office location in Huntsville, AL.
This position is the technical lead for projects and production, with responsibility for the planning and development of heat flux sensors and thermocouples with integration into systems. The candidate will assist with drawing packages for job orders to be released to fabrication. The candidate will also serve as the Technical/Engineering liaison with supplier, manufacturing and customers, and provide support in the development of technology strategy and product offerings for the business. With proper training and mentoring, the candidate would become responsible for the overall design content from concept through detailed drawings.

Key Performance Goals and Responsibilities:
Working with Production Supervisor and General Manager to plan production operations, establishing priorities and goals for the production team

Work processes and procedure improvements to optimize and improve the quality of delivery in line with quality standards requirements, including company and customer requirements
Responsibility for the design of heat flux sensors and their integration into systems (these are "delta" designs based on established drawings and typically require changing the outer mold line of existing products to meet customers' mounting requirements).
