Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables or customers in a prompt and efficient manner.
Verify that each order matches the customer's request in terms of items, quantity, special instructions, and any modifications. If there are any discrepancies, communicate with the kitchen or servers to rectify the issue.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure that multiple orders are ready at the same time for delivery, avoiding delays and ensuring that hot food stays hot and cold food remains cold.
Assist with setting and clearing tables, as needed. Refill water glasses, bring condiments, and provide any other assistance that enhances the dining experience.
Maintain open and effective communication with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure a smooth flow of food service. Relay customer feedback or special requests to the appropriate team members.
Keep work areas clean and organized. Regularly check for spills, debris, and safety hazards, and address them promptly to maintain a safe and pleasant dining environment.
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Be attentive to their needs and respond to any additional requests they may have
Qualifications:
Must be positive, upbeat, and welcoming
No previous restaurant experience required
Communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
