Responsibilities Overview
As a banquet server at Greenleaf Hospitality Group, you are an Intention Seeker looking for ways to provide those exceptional and unique services at some of the most important events in people's lives and careers. We will train you on the skills needed to set up, serve, interact with guests, understand food and beverage, respond to guest requests, and anticipate guest needs. You will do this daily as part of a larger team that is committed to respecting and supporting each other, providing friendly and memorable interactions with our guests, and having fun.
What You'll Be Doing
Serving guests at events through activities including but not limited to:
Carrying trays
Serving meals
Servicing buffets
Clearing dishes
Replenishing beverages
Butler service
Bartending
Set up for events through activities including but not limited to:
Placing out tablecloths, napkins, place settings, guest provided items, condiments, centerpieces etc
Setting up and designing or decorating buffets and other food and beverage stations.
Interact with guests in a friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable manner.
Respect and support fellow team members.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Take direction well from several different sources.
Work well both independently and as a team.

The Dining Services Server is accountable for providing prompt, courteous service to all residents and guests in the dining room during meal times. The Dining Services Server will perform serving, cleaning, hospitality, and waiting / bussing tables. Will service the Dining Room, as well as meetings and other special events requiring dining services. May also prepare salads and desserts as directed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables. Serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner meals to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro. Bus and reset tables as needed.
Prepare salad bar items for lunch. Fill salad bar with ice and set for service, including gathering plates and bowls as necessary for salad bar and soup kettles. Prepare and stage desserts. Light food prep for special events. Assist in setting up meetings or other special events, including delivery of snacks, coffee, tea, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Self-motivated, detailed oriented and reliable Knowledge of proper table service with the ability to suggest food and beverages to customers. Maintains an organized and clean area that they are working at. Ability to communicate with guest and staff in a timely manner.
Good knowledge of mixed drinks, wines and liquor brands. Desire to learn our menu and demonstrate complete understanding of all menu items.
