Basic Job Function:
To take Room Service orders accurately in a helpful, friendly, courteous and professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction.

Answers Room Service calls on a multi-line telephone, explain any specials, promote menu items and answer questions regarding preparation methods. Documents orders by repeating items back to callers to ensure accuracy. Quotes expected arrival time.
Inputs and process Food and Beverage checks on a computer system. Maintain an accurate cash bank through the Micros system.
Answers calls for pick-up of carts and/or trays and direct waithelp to retrieve items from guest rooms or floors. Maintains a master pick up sheet to ensure all carts and/or trays are retrieved in a timely manner.
Responds to special requests from guests and other departments.
Documents complimentary amenity orders.
Maintains a clean and organized work station.
Maintains control of the issuance of master keys.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Report all suspicious persons or activities and hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Security Department.
Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
Respond to all guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction and information as requested when working in public areas.
Answer calls for Mini-bar requests and delegate special requests to appropriate colleagues.
Monitor waithelp to ensure orders are being handled promptly.
Prepare and distribute computer generated reports to Service Assistants.

**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ A successful candidate will have experience as a first responder - related experience that best aligns with the day to day operation may include:
+ Hotel/Resort Security Guard/Officer experience
+ Successfully completed basic training in the Military
+ Loss Prevention and/or Plain Clothes Operatives experience
+ High pressure situational experience such as Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter, Flight Attendant

It is important when seating guests that you are using the proper seating rotation.
When seating guests utilize the Manager-on-Duty if you notice any server or employee not able to satisfy our guests needs.
If there is two host staff on the door one should always be at the front greeting guests and the other should be seating them. As they return back to the desk they should note any open tables that are available.
As the host staff returns to the host area they should collect menus and silverware throughout the restaurant.
When a host walks a guest to the table, they should ALWAYS SAY, 'Are you ready for some Mai Tais?' or 'I have an ocean view table ready for you' as you set the menus down, you should make every effort to say 'Have a great time'. This sets the stage for a positive, fun experience and set in motion advance suggestive selling of our signature drink, 'the Mai Tai', Hawaii's most famous beverage.

Reporting to the Assistant Catering Manager or Catering Manager, this position is primarily responsible for delivering food and setting up food tables for various functions.

Aloha! Our Hospitality division is growing and we are looking for On-Call Front of House Food Runners to join our team for upcoming events. This position is On-Call as it is based on when there are events so it is perfect for those who are already working and looking for flexible work.
The FOH Food Runner assists in replenishing food stations as necessary throughout the course of the event. They are crucial to the success of our events and work closely with the kitchen and floor captains.
Schedule: On-Call based on events
Pay: $20.60 per hour, up to $824 per week
Location: Ala Moana/Waikiki
Job Responsibilities:
Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience.
Keeps buffet stations stocked throughout the course of the event.
Maintain inviting and visually appealing food station setup.
Setup and strike stations according to event order.
Adhere to facility brand standards, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.
Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash.
Completes all side work in the front and/or back of the house as assigned and scheduled by members of the management team.
Job Requirements:
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have black non-slip shoes.
Must take direction well and be able to adapt.
Loading and offloading heavy equipment (up to 50lbs) and deliver to event rooms.
Comfortable with labor duties including but not limited to standing, walking, push, pull, lifting, kneeling for long periods of time.
Must be able to report to work on time if not early.
