Basic Function: Responsible for all beverage service for the Club. Must be knowledgeable about wine and spirits and be able to offer suggestions to members. Must be able to serve tables if needed. Essential duties and responsibilities: The following job duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned. Primary Responsibilities: Must have complete product knowledge and be prepared to offer suggestions to enhance guest's experience. Perform assigned side work. Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, champagne, mixers, ice, fruits and vegetables. Set up bar with proper glassware and needed tools. Maintain bar inventory throughout shift. Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating. Take members/guests orders and make suggestions as needed. Assemble and serve drinks. Verify bill accuracy and handle all account charges from guests and members prescribed by standard operating procedures. Keep tables and bar clean and tidy; clear empty glasses as needed. Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. Perform all clean up and closing duties as assigned by manager. Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by dining room supervisor.
