1972

In 1972, Webb descendants decided to open and share Shelburne Farms with the world and give it a new purpose.

1984

In 1984 the family contributed the property to the nonprofit educational organization that owns it today.

1989

Consider that it took until 1989 for Shelburne Farms — established more than a century earlier — to stop losing money.

1990

Books Printed volumes collected by members of the Webb family, including Lila Osgood (Vanderbilt) Webb, William Seward Webb, James Watson Webb, Sr., and Derick Webb for their libraries, 1750-1990.

2014
