Essential Responsibilities/Requirements: * Must have at least 6 months of fast paced restaurant or catering experience. * Have a strong attention to detail & use time efficiently. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work efficiently and independently is important for this position. * Need to measure precisely and follow specific detailed instructions in order to assure standardized meals. * Knowledge of and ability to use kitchen equipment and general cleaning materials. * Have basic food preparation practices and the ability to learn the methods and procedures of large-scale lunch production. * Ability to lift 50 lbs * Have a Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to get one in a timely manner upon starting work. * Knowledge of both Spanish and English is helpful, but not required. * Cross training in all aspects of the kitchen will be provided. * Perform other duties as assigned. Hours vary between 30 - 40 hours a week, depending on the week as our hours can fluctuate due to school's schedules as we follow the school calendars and can be closed for major school holidays.
