The Advanced Materials Group at Leidos is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern - Software/App Development for Simulating Metal Additive Manufacturing Process to join our team in Crane, IN. This is an in-person position. **Basic Qualifications**
+ US Citizen
+ 3.0 GPA or higher
+ Currently enrolled in a degree of Engineering program or related discipline at an accredited University.
+ Experience with a software engineering language such as C++, Python, Rust, or similar.

About the role: PMAT is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to be a key contributor in producing world-class software. This position will support an operationally fielded software suite, deployed to tactical edge platforms, by developing new capabilities, improving existing capabilities, and/or developing new external applications that augment overall operational capabilities. The software suite ingests sensor data from various sources and is utilized to enhance a mission operator's track identification capabilities. Duties in this role include developing new and improving existing capabilities for operationally fielded expeditionary systems on various platforms. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement solutions related to the fielded software suite

Conduct evaluation and experimentation of prototype capabilities at naval exercises and demonstrations
Develop and test software interfaces to support multi-sensor, multi-INT sensor data dissemination

Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
