Responsibilities: * Support Public Sector Solutions pursuits and delivery as a subject matter expert for all Salesforce projects globally * Lead the customer and Slalom's delivery team with Public Sector Solutions best practices, solutions, re-usable assets, and product features * Collaborates to translate business requirements into solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and PSS product * Provides functional and technical product support to configurators and developers * Assists in developing level of effort estimates for proposed solutions and articulates the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality * Contributes to sales efforts by helping design functional solutions for our clients * Stays updated with new Public Sector Solutions product and functional capabilities as well as refining best practices * Participates in marketing events (e.g., conferences, industry events, sales meetings) * Demonstrates thought leadership through publishing, public speaking, and client presentations * Supports the development of junior technical and functional team members and help build the PSS practice * Assists in interviewing candidates * 65% target utilization * Willingness to travel up to 50% Qualifications: * 5-8 years of Salesforce experience * 3-5 years of Public Sector industry experience * Experience with Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio, or with Salesforce's Industry Clouds is a must * Strong client-facing written and oral communication skills * Experience with Salesforce project delivery, with a preference towards consulting experience * Interest in the public sector and technology * Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire * Experience in sales and pre-sales solutioning * Hands-on configuration experience and development is required * Experience with Public Sector State & Local customers is a plus * AI Literacy and Judgment: Understands generative AI and LLMs, applying sound judgment in their use, while ensuring data privacy and compliance. * AI-Assisted Design and Content Creation: Uses AI tools for exploring solutions and drafting artifacts, maintaining accuracy through human review and oversight. * Verification, Quality Control, and Team Enablement: Validates AI outputs against standards and expert input, and guides team members on effective AI usage to boost productivity. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and salary ranges: * East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley: * Senior Principal: $167,000-$258,000 * San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester: * Senior Principal: $153,000-$237,000 * All other locations: * Senior Principal: $140,000-$217,000 In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
