Our Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) is responsible for establishing and maintaining overall store inventory control. As the store's expert of all inbound and outbound inventory activity and procedures, the RICS guarantees that the sales floor is fully stocked with merchandise to promote a positive customer experience and to support our sales goal objectives. Additionally, they ensure the proper flow of merchandise to the sales floor and accuracy of inventory to support the replenishment of goods in the system, complete required documentation & system processes in a timely fashion and maintain the stock room in a clean and organized manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships. Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy. Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards. Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with all company ticketing and signage guidelines. Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor in accordance with Loss Prevention guidelines. Ensure the timely and accurate input for all freight information through the appropriate systems. Execute all RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or mark downs efficiently and timely to Company policies and procedures. Educate and coach sales team on all processes and procedures that affect the customer experience throughout inventory control. Ensure a high level of productivity through attainment of units per hour (UPH) targets. Maintain a neat and orderly stock room that is compliant with all Company/State guidelines. Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management. KEY HOLDER DUTIES Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships. Become an expert in our product categories; understand and communicate product knowledge (including features and benefits) to the customer. Maintain and achieve measurable goals, including units per transaction (UPT), average dollar per transaction (ADT), item add-ons and customer information capture rates. Be informed and understand current merchandise promotions and advertisements. Maintain company-merchandising standards and assist in floor moves, display maintenance, merchandising, sales set up, and store housekeeping. Assist with processing merchandise as well as monitoring and replenishing floor stock. Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers. Actively seek new ways to develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with the store leadership team. Complete all opening and closing procedures to company standards and comply with the company's Time and Attendance policy and procedures. EXCITING OPPORTUNITY AWAITS! New store opening in Loveland! Join our dynamic team as we embark on a thrilling journey with the opening of our newest store! Under the supervision of the Management team, the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution. Ensures adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed. Maintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Ensures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries. Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight. Supports the Management team with coordination of all “Special Events”; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing and pricing of all advertised items. Supports the Management team in carrying out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems, maintaining a positive, harassment free working environment for all associates. Assists the Management team and Human Resources Representative to staff the department with “service” oriented associates; participates in interviewing and makes recommendations for selection; coordinates training; consults with the Management team and gives input on preparation of performance appraisals; prepares weekly work schedules; coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment. Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
