**What You Will Do**

+ Build and run rigid-body dynamic models for simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink (Simscape Multibody).

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ Strong physics and mathematics academic background.
+ Proven ability to lead small analysis or simulation projects, working independently or overseeing a small team of supporting engineers.
+ Proficiency in CAD Software (SolidWorks highly preferred).
+ Experience in dynamic modeling and simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink, Simscape Multibody highly preferred).
+ Experience with scripting and programming in software languages such as Python or MATLAB.
+ Strong interest in systems engineering and software (automation, coding, and debugging).
+ Familiarity with both software and mechanical version control systems (Git, PDM, Upchain, or similar tools).
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with working on animatronic systems or other related work in the entertainment industry.

Systems Engineer
Reports To: Enterprise IT Infrastructure Manager
Department: Information Technology
FLSA Status: Exempt
Purpose: Works under the general direction of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Manager to install, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, software, networking devices, and related hardware exercising initiative and independent judgment based on professional education, specialized technical knowledge, and previous experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Job Functions)
· Installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of systems, including servers, hypervisors, and virtualized systems
· Serve as an administrator for system and cloud infrastructures
· Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources
· Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality
· Read product literature and specifications, evaluate utilities, investigate issues with vendors, and troubleshoot problems*
· Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure operation in conformance with specifications*
· Protect operations by keeping information confidential
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Specifications (including knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical requirements)
• Experience with Cisco LAN/WAN routing/switching platforms
• Experience with Cisco Firewalls
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands on experience with VLANs, access lists, trunking, port-aggregation, static routing, OSPF/BGP routing, DNS, DHCP, Radius, SNMP, ARP, MAC address tables
• Troubleshooting complex network issues such as performance analysis, protocol problems, hardware failures and WAN/LAN connectivity issues
• Knowledge and experience using IPSEC/DMVPN tunnels, VPN clients/connections
• Experience with Network monitoring tools, IPS/IDS
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud-based technologies, network virtualization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently as required
• Ability to detect, analyze, and solve complex software problems and routine hardware problems
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with other departments and vendors
• Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and general office software and equipment
• Work requires regular and reliable attendance
• Work ranges from sedentary to moderately physical depending on the task; frequently requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking
• Tasks often require reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, bending, climbing, or lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
Working Conditions
· Work is generally performed in an indoor office environment without hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, or adverse weather or environmental conditions. Some tasks require work to be performed outside with potential for exposure to adverse weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to dirt, dust, pollen, odors, fumes, humidity, rain, and temperature and noise extremes.

Qualifications
· BA/BS degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university
· 3+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring and maintaining server, storage, and desktop systems
· 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and maintaining cloud systems
· An equivalent level of education and experience may be substituted as permitted by law.
· CCNA, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certifications preferred. Must be able to obtain within 6 months of employment
