As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will focus on conceptualizing and detailing innovative automation systems including robotic work cells, tooling, and precision positioning equipment. What You Will Do Lead the mechanical design of custom automation systems, often managing one (1) complex project at a time. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to achieve improved quality, product cost, and manufacturing efficiency. This position applies knowledge of design, materials/components, fabrication, welding and paint processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards.
