We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our integrated buildings practice. This position will contribute to Stantec's success by planning, executing, and managing projects ranging from $30 million to over $200 million in construction values. This role is expected to use sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and effective tools and techniques to execute and deliver projects. You will be a senior contributor on our professional Buildings/AE team and will work independently to assist clients from the beginning through the end of a project. Your experience ensures that you are capable of managing the clients, contracts, technical team, project finance, and schedules, as well as supporting the project pursuit efforts, led by the principals. You will lead the development of integrated design proposals, including design-build and design-bid-build projects, develop, and manage integrated work plans, manage project financials, and coordinate with clients while leading others and collaborating with team members to contribute to the final deliverables.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing complex tasks on medium to large-size projects ($30 Million to over $200 Million in construction values)
- Responsible for delivering quality documents.
- Plan, organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client.
- Keep the Principal in Charge informed of progress on project expectations, potential issues, deadlines, and deliverables; understand the levels of the decision-making responsibilities of the role as a Sr. Project Manager.
- Maintain client relationship.
- Lead the client and project team to assure that the project design meets the client budget, schedule, program, and design intent.
- Assist the Principal-in-Charge in the negotiation and development of project agreements.
- Develop and manage project budget, schedule, and overall work plan to realize target financial performance.
- Oversee development of building documentation in modeling software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD)
- Mentor Assistant Task Managers and motivate project teams.
- Assure that Project Management Framework tasks are timely completed and properly documented.
- Lead project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and sub-contractors.
- Manage and track change orders, applications for payment by contractors and other contractual modifications impacting budget and schedule.
- Work with Operations Manager in determining project staffing needs and recommending personnel.
- Directs client invoicing and effectively manages collections.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge of managing all phases of AE projects including project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of DoD design standards such as UFCs.
- Knowledge of USACE and NAVFAC design and execution procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Tracking record of delivering projects on time and budget.
- Effectively manages multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Skilled in facilitating internal and external project team meetings, monitoring, tracking, and controlling outcomes to resolve issues, conflict, and prioritization.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Must be a licensed architect. California licensure preferred. (or licensed in the home-office state)
Minimum 20 years of experience in the architectural-engineering industry of which minimum 7 years of experience as a project manager in architectural-engineering firms.
Department of Defense experience preferred especially experience with NAVFAC and USACE.
LEED AP a plus.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 108,000.00 - Max Salary $ 162,000.00
- Locations in WA, DC & Various CA areas - Min Salary $ 115,900.00 - Max Salary $ 173,800.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Estimator to support design and construction management on a major public transit infrastructure program in the Seattle region. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of complex, high-impact transit projects by providing accurate, data-driven cost estimating in alignment with agency standards and federal funding requirements. The successful candidate will bring experience in transit infrastructure estimating, a working knowledge of Sound Transit's estimating methodologies, and proficiency with leading industry tools including HeavyBid, Primavera, and cost controls systems. Your impact:
Prepare detailed cost estimates across all phases of design: conceptual, preliminary, intermediate, final, and construction release.
Support cost control by ensuring estimates align with program-level work breakdown structures (WBS) across cost management and scheduling platforms such as Oracle, PRISM, and Primavera.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and Project Controls personnel to ensure accuracy and traceability of estimates.
Assist in producing monthly forecasting updates, including assessments of remaining quantities, escalation, and market condition trends.

Typical Duties:
Develop contract documents for the construction of transit, transportation, and municipal water/wastewater electrical designs.
Lead the electrical or communications design for small to medium-sized projects throughout the entire life cycle of projects, from planning and scoping, through the design phase in the development of construction documents, and construction administration.
Coordinate and work closely with multi-disciplined design teams.
Ability to prepare electrical and communications plans, wiring schematics, for communications and electrical architecture designs.
Perform formal QA/QC or review of sub-consultant or designer's work.
Prepare accurate and complete designs, reports, and calculations as required to meet project requirements.
Conduct field investigations when needed; produce field reports with detailed sketches.

As an Intern for the West Region Environmental Services Group at Stantec, you can expect to carry out a variety of different tasks related to water resource management projects. Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for projects involving erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management.
- Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/designer.
- Drafting, computer modeling, data entry, assistance with preparation of construction plans and specifications, quality control review of client construction storm water documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of design concept plans, permit packages, work plans, tables, figures, hydraulic calculations, erosion and sediment control plans, and associated post-construction stormwater management plans, and present information for quality review.
- Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable regulations, codes and engineering standards and practices.

Your Opportunity
We're looking for interns for our summer 2026 internship program! As an Intern for the West Region Environmental Services Group at Stantec, you can expect to carry out a variety of different tasks related to water resource management projects. You will learn about career offerings within Stantec, what is needed to become a successful consulting engineer with other interns from across the nation. Every day will allow you to work on an interesting project, while expanding your knowledge as you gain field and office experience in many disciplines.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide engineering support for projects involving erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management.
* Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/designer.
* Drafting, computer modeling, data entry, assistance with preparation of construction plans and specifications, quality control review of client construction storm water documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of design concept plans, permit packages, work plans, tables, figures, hydraulic calculations, erosion and sediment control plans, and associated post-construction stormwater management plans, and present information for quality review.
* Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable regulations, codes and engineering standards and practices.
* Complete other engineering/administrative duties as required.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Understanding of water and environmental related principles and engineering concepts, including related hydraulics and hydrologic (H&H) principles and concepts.
* The ability to effectively communicate ideas and opinions.
* Be proficient in interpreting sketches, drawings, and other similar material.
* Be conscientious, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and disciplined.
* Build and maintain productive professional and personal networking relationships within your technical team.
* Relevant office or field experience is a plus. Examples: Construction Surveying, Field Surveying, Field Sampling, Drafting.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
* Currently pursuing or graduated with a minimum of a four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preference towards students pursuing emphasis areas of Environmental, Agricultural, or Civil Engineering) with a focus on ecological engineering and/or geomorphology preferred.
* Relevant co-op / internships and work experience during school will be considered.
* Experience using HEC-RAS, and AutoCAD a plus.
* Valid driver's license.
Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Candidate must be willing and have the ability to travel, and on occasion, spend time working away from home office for extended periods of time.

Pay Range:
* $23.47 - $34.50 Hourly
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
