Perform as liaison between Product Engineering and Manufacturing to improve new and existing processes, resolve problems, or identify additional requirements to existing processes. Collaborate with other functional groups such as Purchasing/Sourcing, Quality, etc.
Evaluate, develop and maintain manufacturing process specifications. Train Engineering associates as required.
Resolve equipment issues by troubleshooting; Identify root cause and implement effective corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and/or product quality.
Champion the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintain preventative maintenance (PM) quality and compliance, track calibration needs and ensure timeliness and improve equipment reliability. Communicate metrics data to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Develop facility layouts based on workflow, production requirements, cost, equipment, and Associate safety.
Manage special projects as assigned. Lead Lean events necessary for the project implementation including 2P and Layout Workshops.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate seminars, membership in associations, and subscription to publications.
Become the resident equipment expert. Raise the level of knowledge in the maintenance organization to decrease reliance on outside services to improve reliability and increase equipment availability.
Develop master skills list for the maintenance technicians for equipment.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
Bachelor of Science in MechanicalEngineering.
Minimum of 3 or more years of manufacturing experience.
Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Must possess excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

Department Overview
The role resides within our SAP Center of Excellence (CoE). The SAP CoE aims to provide business and application expertise to support Cardinal Health's global and/or domestic SAP platforms, by designing new processes, optimizing current ones, managing complex implementation projects, providing user support, and training, and keeping the complex SAP system landscape up and running. In addition, the CoE will help optimize the use of all SAP products implemented in a cost-effective manner, contributing to the overall organization's success. Responsibilities
The scope of this role is to provide subject matter expertise as part of the Largescale SAP Projects organization within Cardinal Health's SAP Center of Excellence.
Responsible for leading SAP Project deliverables like Functional Specifications, Configurations, Data conversions, Cutover planning, and execution, Hypercare etc
Responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solutions supporting SAP OTC/PTP/ SCE Business Processes.
Analyze and document as-is processes and systems, determine gaps and define to-be processes and systems.
Lead the blueprint workshops and conduct sessions with business to gather requirements/Fit Gap Analysis.
Responsible for architecting, designing, building, and deploying SAP business applications in OTC, RTR, PTP & RNI Business process areas.
Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery
Complies and enforce adoption of Solution Manager, Charm Management, JIRA, and other standard tools.
Identify gaps between requirements and current solution and develop options and estimates for closing the gaps.
Effectively communicate with IT partners and business stakeholders
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to manage the execution of Software Delivery deliverables.
Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction to stakeholders.
Have an enterprise perspective and help others to understand broad implications of decision making.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications, presentation skills, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions.
Perform system support, analysis and design for SAP and other related IT solutions to support Procure to Pay Processes
Working with modules such as LE, SD, & FI, along with the corresponding business processes and related project implementation.
Qualifications
Proven hands-on multiple full life cycle SAP implementation Projects preferred
Advanced knowledge in SAP S4 functionalities along with deep expertise within 2 or more of following modules : SAP SD, LE & MM, FI, Pricing preferred
Ability to convert technical/functional specifications into test scenarios and test scripts preferred.
Ability to perform configuration, debugging and enhancement design for solutions preferred.
Understands SAP best-practices, business processes, operational procedures, and the relationships between SAP SD- MM, MM-LE, MM -FI and SAP - Non-SAP systems preferred.
S4 HANA certification preferred
Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI and with external ERP systems like Vertex, EDI etc preferred.

**Purpose** : The Staff Engineer, Controls and Automation will serve as a key technical contributor with respect to controls and automation of manufacturing lines for our new product development teams. **You will be responsible for** :
+ Leads Automation and Controls strategy from concept with equipment vendor through IQ/OQ/PQ at the production plant. This includes working with vendors to deliver robust solutions with respect to all Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Cognex/Keyence Vision Systems, and any MES/SCADA systems.
+ The individual will guide the Product Development Team through automation specifications, requirements and validations of the entire manufacturing lines as well as providing guidance for TMV and GR&R issues related to automation.

+ Certifications & Regulatory Knowledge
+ GAMP 5: Experience with validation and lifecycle documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, risk assessments)
+ 21 CFR Part 11 & Part 820: Understanding of electronic records, audit trails, and FDA compliance
+ Certified Automation Professional (CAP) - ISA or equivalent (preferred)
+ Rockwell Automation Certification (e.g., ControlLogix Programmer, FactoryTalk SE)
+ Ignition Gold Certification (preferred)
+ Siemens Opcenter or MES integration training (preferred)
+ Cognex Certified Vision Professional (CCVP) or A3 CVP - Basic/Advanced
+ Keyence Vision / Measurement certification (vendor training acceptable)

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$109,000.00 - $174,800.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
