POSITION SUMMARY This internship consists of a full immersion in athletic training services for Seattle Reign FC. The intern will not travel with the team but is expected to be present at all home matches. The student will work closely with professional athletes, carrying out daily athletic training services under the guidance of the Medical Director, Head and Assistant Athletic Trainers. The student is expected to display their current athletic training skills while seeking opportunities to learn new skills. Clinical questions and discussions are encouraged. The intern may have the opportunity to observe the team physician when on site. Professionalism and maturity are always expected while around staff and athletes. The intern is responsible for attending and actively participating in mandatory supervision and training. The intern will perform all clinical and direct patient care under the supervision of a qualified Supervisor. Internship and Practicum Competencies and Expectations 1. Successful candidates will commit a minimum of 9-12 months of consistent internship/practicum participation with CVCH. 2.
