Andy oversees the Residential Services division of Sunrise. He also oversees the Quality Improvement, Health Services, Food Services, Staff Training, and Intake departments at Sunrise. His focus is on corporate compliance by consistently improving the quality of services at all levels of the organization, while ensuring the organization meets and exceeds all licensure and accreditation requirements.

Before his career at Sunrise, Andy worked at another nonprofit organization providing individual and family therapy to children and families with a history of or who were at risk for abuse or neglect.

Jake Pelfrey

Chief Advancement Officer

Jake Pelfrey is the Director of Advancement for the Central Kentucky Region. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Jake has 12 years of social work experience all across the United States, which includes youth homeless shelters in Chicago, at-risk schools in Phoenix, and a youth crisis center in Cincinnati.

He holds a Masters of Arts degree in religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Masters of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. He speaks and teaches at churches, conferences, forums, and workshops on personal youth growth strategies and best practices, while the bulk of his time is spent sharing the incredible stories and the good work of Sunrise.
