Under minimal supervision, the LIS System Specialist will collaborate with various SHUSA DermPath Division departments, clients, and stakeholders to gather and document processes and workflows. The LIS System Specialist will identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This person will provide support to laboratory teams for the LIS and its related processes and functions, which include troubleshooting issues and training new users.

Job duties and responsibilities
Acts as liaison between client and PW teams
Collaborates with staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by our labs and our LIS.
Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.
Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the client regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation of new features.
Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
Collaborates with the lab and engineering teams to ensure the needs of the client and PathologyWatch labs have been met.
Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of process and system difficulties.
Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
Drives operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Acts as Subject Matter Expert for LIS-related activities and serves as first point of contact for lab personnel with questions/issues with LIS
Reviews system for delayed cases. Facilitates
Monitors and forwards consult cases to internal consultants per DermPath's requests. Uploads outside reports and sends out paperwork to cases in LIS.
Provides ongoing feedback to Engineering on performance and issues to support further development of the system.
Will provide end-user support and training to internal and external users
May perform other related duties as needed.

Purpose
Under direct supervision of the IT Operations Manager, responsiblefor installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting IT systems that meet Dell Medical School business requirements. Responsibilities

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst with a strong focus on Billing and Revenue systems. As a key member of the Business Systems team, you will own the design, implementation, and optimization of critical systems supporting our Billing and Revenue operations. Act as the primary relationship manager for Billing and Revenue-related systems and initiatives.
Design and oversee scalable technical solutions across Salesforce Billing, Avalara, RightRev, and related integrations.
Project manage enhancements across distributed teams (administrators, developers, business stakeholders), ensuring clear accountability and delivery.
Identify and automate inefficient processes, delivering scalable, reliable solutions.
Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) for key initiatives and document findings.
Create and maintain process and system documentation to ensure consistency and clarity.

Maintain strong stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and impacts to the business.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand automation opportunities and communicate scope and timeline of projects to all stakeholders across the organization
Work across departments to design technical solutions to transform key business processes with support from administrators and developers
Identify time-consuming internal processes and assist in building automated, reliable, and scalable solutions
Identify potential opportunities for improvement in the processes and tools used for Billing and Revenue operations
Create and maintain accurate and consistent process documentation
Work with the data team to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of relevant system's data and reliability of integrations between systems
Manage the user acceptance testing (UAT) process for key initiatives and document results
Collaborate with system administrators to implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, security, release management, improvements, data integrity, etc.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of analyst experience with demonstrable ownership of business system enhancements and stakeholder relationships.
3-5 years of experience with Business Systems / Enterprise Applications.
Proven expertise in Salesforce Billing, Avalara, and RightRev (or equivalent revenue recognition systems).
Functional knowledge of Billing, Collections, and Revenue Recognition processes, with ability to evaluate end-to-end impacts.
Skilled in agile project management, backlog grooming, and release management.
Proficiency with Jira, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Provide first-line telephone technical support for the Q2 Solution

Accurately record cases, including customer comments, proper categorization, and fully document issues for quick resolution without requiring additional contact with the customer to obtain basic details

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
**_Job Summary_**
The job will be supporting mostly the WaveMark Supply Management & Workflow Solutions which is a SaaS solution enabling healthcare providers and manufacturers to effectively manage supplies with market-leading innovative technology. WaveMark leverages a portfolio of advanced hardware (e.g., RFID) and cloud-based software including an analytics platform providing full visibility and control of all supplies from low-cost commodities to high-cost devices and implants. Our global footprint and continuous innovation deliver the most cost effective and workflow efficient patient care possible.
The IT Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the organization's digital assets by working cross-functionally to design, implement, monitor, and enforce security processes and procedures. This position collaborates with software and hardware engineering, compliance, and other business units to ensure robust security practices are integrated across applications and operations. The analyst is responsible for developing and implementing mitigation strategies and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Application Portfolio Management (APM):
+ Manage and maintain APM records (Wavemark, MarginAnalysis), ensuring data accuracy.
+ Track APM resiliency deadlines and update relevant systems (worksheets, ServiceNow).
+ Monitor Archer dashboards for upcoming deadlines and past-due remediations.
+ Facilitate status calls with stakeholders regarding application resiliency, exemptions, and remediation.
+ Collaborate with IT and business teams for APM record updates and reporting.
+ Application Security & Compliance:
+ Analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and audit findings to prioritize remediation.
+ Collaborate with product management and development teams to plan and schedule security fixes that align with business objectives.
+ Support the integration of application logs into the SIEM and develop monitoring and alerting systems to detect potential application attacks and resiliency issues.
+ Develop and implement testing/validation processes for security system effectiveness.
+ Ensure adherence to enterprise security processes, business, regulatory, and legal requirements.
+ Assist in security incident response using SIEM and other detection platforms.
+ Review policies, procedures, system designs, and security controls against frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
+ Support implementation and configuration of application security tools.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with established application security standards.
+ Assist the Incident Response team with application security investigations.
+ Develop custom tools to help software teams embed security into their development processes when off-the-shelf solutions are unavailable.
**_Qualifications_**
+ 2-4 years of experience, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Knowledge of SDLC and DevSecOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines preferred
+ Experience with common application security controls including WAF preferred
+ Understanding of standard security control frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework (800-53) preferred
+ Strong analytic, troubleshooting skills; can problem solve, organize, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a health information system environment preferred
+ Able to stay objective and independent when completing assignments and consistently demonstrate the ability to hold information in confidence preferred
+ Ability to learn new software and hardware packages and adapt to changes in technology preferred.
+ Strong technical, process, and interpersonal skills to effectively analyze information systems, research and validate risks preferred.
+ Knowledge of common patterns for AuthN and AuthZ preferred
+ Experience in understanding SCA/SAST scan results and working with development teams to establish remediation plans preferred
+ Experience in creating dashboards in Splunk, Rapid7 or other equivalent tools to measure and guide application security work preferred
+ Experience with Veracode preferred
+ One or more Information Security Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA preferred
