Job Overview:
Ingersoll Rand has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer - ETO in Springfield, MO. The responsibilities of the position include designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions to support our diverse range of products and services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a strong commitment to quality and innovation. You will work closely with Product Management, Customer Service, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to design custom solutions for unique customer applications in a Global Market.
Responsibilities:
* Interpret Customer Specifications to appropriate size and offer the correct product for their application.
* Creation of 3D Models, Drawings, P&IDs, and other documentation as the project requires.
* Process the orders received for Engineered Solutions by creating the required part numbers, Bills of Materials, and test procedures required for production to build, test, and ship the product.
* Provide costing to Product Management for the custom solution that Engineering designs.
* Daily work in Salesforce, PTC Windchill and SAP to execute Quotations, Orders, and Technical Questions as required.
* Support product engineering and operations initiatives (NPD, i2V, product rationalization, etc.) through business case analysis and project execution.
* Determines the development or purchase of capital equipment.
* Interacts with design, manufacturing and suppliers.
* Assists internal and external suppliers with processing problems and troubleshooting to find root causes.
* Ensures safety designed into all processes and implements safety corrective actions required to eliminate safety risks.
* Attend various online meetings as required with internal and external customers as it relates to projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
* 4+ years of experience in an engineering role in manufacturing or industrial environment.
* 3+ years of experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoDesk, PTC Creo) and other engineering tools.

Job Description
Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olsson's number one concern, and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner. As a Senior Engineer on the Water/Wastewater team, you'll provide various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing projects. You may assist with developing the project scope and schedule, project documentation, and reviewing shop drawings. Types of wastewater projects typically include piping extensions and rehabilitation, new pump stations and rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects.
Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction. Opportunities to mentor younger or less experienced staff may be available along with client relations.
