As an Advanced Technologist Assistant, you will be onsite and able to perform a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical and patient related functions. The Advanced Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting radiology technologists in providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting.
Essential Functions
Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the patient registration.
Greets visitors/patients.
Check-in process; Check-out process; Insurance verification process; Informs patients of costs for care being provided.

Sets up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolations precautions when needed.
Provide quality customer service, explains all studies to patient in a clear manner.
Positions the patient, ensuring patient comfort and modesty.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Prepares patients for exams by assisting with dressing and undressing, positioning patients for exams and escorting patients to and from the exam rooms.

The Young Center's Child Advocate Program (CAP) serves as the federally-appointed bests interests representative for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in federal custody. Through CAP's state initiative, we also serve and are appointed by the Superior Courts of New Jersey as independent Child Advocates to children released from federal custody into the New Jersey community. Child Advocates meet with children and learn their stories in order to identify and advocate for their best interests through an interdisciplinary, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive lens. Qualifications:

Preference for candidates pursuing the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in principal place of business (the state in which the office is located) for this position before beginning fulltime or candidates pursuing a CISA
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
General understanding of business systems and technology, as well as data analysis techniques
Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is preferred but not required
