A "Service Designer" at Heart: You obsess over the resident and caseworker experience, asking "How does this data field affect the person applying for benefits?" rather than just focusing on the database schema. A Systems Thinker: You see how a change in one dataset impacts downstream systems and prefer solving problems at the source rather than applying band-aids. The Team: The Data Services team is on a mission to enhance the utility and trustworthiness of county data for both county employees and Multnomah County residents, contributing to enhanced service delivery with the help of technology.
