What You'll Need * Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, and technical communication skills. * Proven experience authoring technical documentation in a service, automotive, EV, or mechanical product environment. * Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, particularly in interpreting engineering data and translating it into technician-focused content. * Demonstrated capacity for project management with the ability to manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines. * High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and "seek to understand" before producing content. * Demonstrated DWYSSWYD mindset (Do What You Say, Say What You Do) with timely follow-up, proactive communication, and accountability. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with document control systems, illustration tools, or content management systems preferred. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities. * Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Creative and flexible problem solver with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Preferred Qualifications * Direct experience writing documentation for Electric Vehicles (EVs), high-voltage battery systems, or modern vehicle networks (CAN). * Familiarity with industry standards for technical publications (e.g., S1000D or similar structured authoring methodologies). * Experience with illustrated parts catalogs (IPCs) or parts information systems.
