What you need to be successful and how you will make an impact on the mission as a Ground Based Operational Surveillance System (GBOSS) Field Service Representative:
As an IBD-SS GBOSS Field Service Representative one will perform maintenance, training, and work closely with military customers. An individual who has experience performing mechanical, hydraulics, electronics, and IT Networking tasks as well as skills performing installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing Preventive Maintenance actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Elevated Sensors family of systems to include BETSS-C, Cerberus, RDISS, Radar, PTP radio, television, and other communications & surveillance equipment components. A strong background in IT networks and Network Security is preferred.
Performs operational checks, induction and return to service inspections, troubleshoot faults, remove and replace components, service generators, remove and replace fluids, make adjustments and alignments, use hand tools and electronic measuring devices such as AC/DC voltmeters and, ohms meters able to read, understand, and follow technical manuals, engineering documents, schematic diagrams, safety bulletins, and news flashes; be able to input data into databases and be able to retrieve data to perform maintenance or provide reports as requested
Capable of routine system maintenance and analysis functions including hardware configurations; adding, removing, and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards and ability to perform minor maintenance on generators such as changing oil and filter and other duties as assigned related to scope of AOR (area of responsibility of an FSR/FST (Field Service Representative/Technician)
Act independently as IBDSS representative and customer service point of contact in a distributed, geographically separated environment; manage health and serviceability of multiple systems across a wide-spread geographic area
Performs sustainment and PMCS maintenance on the towers and payloads
Performs site surveys to determine the type and placement of systems
Installs and de-installs systems and their components and trains operators and end users
Updates databases, informs lead of job status and any issues encountered and must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports
Track and updates work orders to include the replacement of parts component serial numbers removed and replaced, experience utilizing COLTS (or similar such as RCLS); experience within the GCSS-A environment is strongly desired
Will travel via military/commercial conveyances to outlying areas to support mission
What you will need to succeed:
BA/BS + 5-8 years of relevant experience, will consider experience in lieu of education requirements
US Secret Security Clearance Required
Must be currently BETSS-C Certified or attend the required BETSS-C Training and must be able to pass an initial pre-test test of job-related knowledge with 60% proficiency or greater prior to training and a final test following training with 80% proficiency or greater, this will result in successful completion of obtaining certifications in relation to BETSS-C/RAID Towers (BETTS-Certificate)
Previous experience with the G-BOSS platform is preferred but not required.
The ability to meet physical demands of the position that can be included but not limited to ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, squat, stand and other physical requirements to meet the position

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

This role will work in TX. The Field Service Representative (FSR) Specialist will troubleshoot and repair tower infrastructure including the steel and tower components, Sensors (radars, cameras, thermal imagers, etc.), power systems (generator, solar, hybrid) and communications equipment (Land Mobile Radio, network, microwave). The FSR will perform troubleshooting, testing, equipment replacement and configuration in support of maintenance to towers, foundations, cameras, microwave systems, transmission lines, shelters, solar systems and communication towers up to 500' in height. + May be required to operate a company-provided vehicle to shuttle collections and/or parts from one facility to another in a safe manner, observing all security measures established by Primo regarding the operation of company vehicles. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.

Document work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that customers' vehicles should not be used for personal errands.
