Job Responsibilities The Field Service Technician will have an understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Duties include, but are not limited to: Daily travel from home to customer facilities with overnight hotel stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training programs. Efficiently update the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations using the Salesforce Lightning Customer Support computer system. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company. Promote and perform preventative maintenance and successfully diagnose and resolve CNC equipment issues to the customer's satisfaction. Job Requirements Minimum of one year of experience with a machine tool builder or distributor, a factory maintenance technician would also be considered. Proficient verbal and written communication and Customer relation skills. Able to interact and optimally communicate in person and over the phone with customer and co-workers. Must be adaptable to changes and flexible when dealing with delays, or general work-related issues Basic digital literacy and understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Job Description JOB FUNCTION: is responsible for the operation of tools and equipment in a variety of customer work sites for the purpose of providing industrial and/or environmental cleaning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Arrive at branch or jobsite on time, in uniform, properly groomed, mentally alert and physically able to work. 2. Operate MPW vehicle (car or van). 3. Set up jobsite including water blast hose, or vacuum hose. 4. Use equipment such as, water blast gun, water lance, dry vacuum hose (6”and 8”), wet vacuum hose (6” and 8”), shovels and picks. 5. Strictly adhere to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. 6. Cleans equipment prior to return to MPW branch location. 7. Demonstrate initiative in execution of assigned tasks. 8. Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. This position may be called in at various hours and days of the week 24/7, due to the emergency response nature of the business. 2. Several long and non-traditional hours are required as a regular part of this position. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs. 2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor. 3. The primary responsibility of the Underground Technician is the safe and efficient installation of Jennchem J-CribTM pumpable cement and containment bags. J-CribTM is a proprietary two-part cement that is mixed at the surface of an underground coal mine and then pumped underground for the installation of roof supports. The Underground Technician will be responsible for supervising or assisting in the process of filling J-CribTM containment bags with cement. Employee is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the underground installation process. This includes but is not limited to; running and maintain plastic slick-line that transports the material from surface to underground; carrying J-Crib bags to where they are required and hanging them in the correct location and at the correct spacing; filling of J-Crib bags to ensure they are straight and pressurized properly to the roof. The Underground Technician will work in our North East region primarily in West Virginia.
