Milton CAT is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Technical Communicator to support our paving equipment portfolio across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the technical expert for paving products, supporting technicians, service managers, and customers while acting as a key liaison between Milton CAT, Caterpillar, and Weiler. This position offers autonomy, regional travel, and the opportunity to influence training, product support, and customer satisfaction across our territory.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 depending on experience. This is a salaried position and includes a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support to service departments in ME, NH, and VT for CAT and Weiler paving equipment.
Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and assist technicians with timely repairs.
Serve as the primary liaison between Milton CAT, Caterpillar, and Weiler to ensure clear communication of technical issues and product updates.
Deliver technical training and New Product Introductions (NPIs) to technicians and service teams.
Maintain consistent communication with shop and field management regarding product issues, updates, and best practices.
Support growth opportunities in parts and service for paving products in collaboration with Product Support Consultants.
Provide field-based problem resolution while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with earthmoving or heavy equipment in positions such as mechanic, Technical Communicator, or technical trainer.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, including proficiency with CAT systems such as SIS (Service Information System) and ET (Electronic Technician).
Preferred experience within the paving industry, including pavers, rollers, screeds, and related machinery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across various personnel levels.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel within ME/NH/VT

About the Role:
Under the supervision and ongoing support of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III provides 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills within an Applied Behavior Analysis model; also works along with related service providers in OT, PT, and Speech. Driving students on occasion with parent permission, as part of student goals and/or transition plans to public schools.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 90 college credits required: Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Certification as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) preferred, training provided if needed.
· Certification as an Educational Technician III preferred, assistance provided as needed.
· Valid Driver's License
We will facilitate obtaining these certifications, and provide paid BHP training, for candidates in need of these certifications

Catholic Charities Maine Behavioral Health Network in Portland, Maine now has an opening for an On-Call (8-10 hours per week) Lab Services Technician.
Definition: The Lab Services Technician shall be a trained, supervised professional who will work as an integral part of the Behavioral Health Network (BHN) Team to support drug screening for individuals enrolled in BHN programs. The Lab Services Technician is responsible for collecting biological specimens both in the office and as needed in the community. Primary duties include adhering to safe handling guidelines while collecting specimens, direct observation of collection of the specimen, maintaining the integrity of the collection process per programmatic protocol for all specimens, maintaining concurrent records for reporting purposes, obtaining initial insurance and identification verification for processing purposes in addition to timely packaging and mailing of the specimens.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Certified Nurse Aide of Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Previous experience in the medical field preferred.
Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high-quality standard.
Attention to detail.
Must have the ability to connect and share information with team members across multiple programs and a variety of disciplines.
Basic computer skills are essential to this role.
Schedule: On-Call hours as scheduled. Hours are scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with most hours falling between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Schedule will vary based on programmatic and client need.
Starting Salary: $18.35 - $19.00 per hour.
