Provides support to Pima County law enforcement by validating, processing, entering, retrieving and clearing information from local, state and national computer system files. Assists law enforcement officers by confirming criminal justice information, coordinating extraditions and issuing victim notifications.
We are a 24/7 running unit, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with rotating shifts offering a 4/10's schedule or a 5/8's schedule based on unit needs. Day shift is typically 0600-1600, Swing shift is 1100-2100 or 1300-2300, and Midnight shift is 2100-0700.
Essential Functions:
As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this classification may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. * Creates, queries and scans national, state and local computer databases and manual systems for information retrieval and verification (e.g., warrants, missing persons, stolen property);
* Inputs, researches and retrieves data for case enrichment of crime reports and develops and identifies suspects for investigative officer follow-up;
* Validates and researches felony, misdemeanor, and civil warrants and coordinates with law enforcement personnel and the courts for processing, entry, and clearing from local, state, and national computer systems;
* Enters and verifies certified complaint dismissals, satisfied, canceled or served information for fugitive warrants received from law enforcement agencies, jails, and the courts;
* Coordinates extradition of fugitives wanted in Pima County, by acting as a liaison between law enforcement agencies such as the Pima County Attorney, Arizona State Attorney General and Governor's office;
* Informs victims and other law enforcement agencies of arrests made, via teletype, telephone or by mail, and documents notifications in compliance with the Victim's Bill of Rights, the Arizona Constitution and applicable Arizona revised statutes;
* Periodically conducts audits of active computerized records for accuracy and consistency as required by the state and Federal Bureau of Investigation;
* Maintains security and confidentiality of all materials and information encountered in duties;
* May be required to testify in court in an official capacity as a departmental employee.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certification AND one year of experience processing legal documents in a law enforcement, corrections, probation or legal setting.
OR:
One year of experience with Pima County as a Records Technician, Public Safety Specialist, Public Safety Transcription Technician or other similar level position as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer with Nuclear Medical/PET-CT experience based in Phoenix/Tucson, AZ area supporting Arizona and the surrounding vicinities. Reporting to the Area Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer (FSE) performs skilled, technical, and advisory work in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of diagnostic and/or other imaging devices or systems.
In conjunction with radiation physicist, performs quality assurance testing and calibration. Trains medical and clinical staff on the safe and proper use of such equipment and systems. This position is expected to have the ability to multi-task several projects and will require travel to regional customer locations. This is a home office-based position.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The FSE performs the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs diagnostic and/or other imaging equipment and systems utilizing established electronic tests and measurement equipment and techniques.
Discusses pending installations, including any needed new construction, repairs, preventive maintenance, de-installations and recalls with external and internal resources.
Installs the actual units and conducts the needed customer in-house product and unit training.
Performs scheduled maintenance, calibrations and/or modifications on imaging equipment and systems, in accordance with department procedures, manufacturers' recommendations, physicist's specifications and/or other applicable codes and standards.
Trains medical and clinical staff on the safe and proper use of diagnostic imaging equipment and systems.
Provides operational and technical advice on diagnostic imaging equipment to medical and clinical staff. Interacts with clinical staff on a regular basis to ensure needs are being met.
Documents and maintains accurate records of all inspections, repairs, adjustments, etc. performed on all equipment. Prepares and obtains all training documentation and installation certifications as required by the company, customer, FDA and/or state regulatory agencies. Tracks and records all installation information as necessary.
Responsible for working knowledge of current Service Software. Responding to Support Services when calls are dispatched.
Scheduling with customers for appropriate service response times to meet contractual obligations.
Completing service reports including Preventative Maintenance documents and submitting them within the established guidelines of the department.
Completing Expense reports and submitting them within the established guidelines of the department.
Requests and/or orders necessary repair and spare parts according to established procedures and contract relationships. Fills out return parts tags on used and unused parts. Maintains shipping records of returned parts.
Responsible for keeping the Product Support Specialist, Area Service Manager and Sales Team up to date on customer contacts and resolution of any application problems.
Accountable for assisting with retention and growth of contract and Time and Materials (T&M) revenue for areas of responsibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, software operating systems, and network technology.
Previous experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based service process.
Familiarity with the use of common electronic test equipment including Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers.
Previous experience with or ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, illustrated parts diagrams and technical manuals of biomedical and imaging instrumentation.
Ability to travel, up to 80% of the time.
Ability to operate an automobile.

Job Summary:
This recruitment will be used to establish an 18-month eligibility list to fill current and future vacancies in Flagstaff and Tucson over the life of the list.
This classification is the core of the Telecommunications Technician series and may be entered by qualified new applicants or through promotion from Telecommunications Technician Trainee.
Telecommunications Technicians install and maintain various types of electronic communications systems and equipment such as VHF and UHF two-way mobile systems, microwave point-to-point systems, technical investigative equipment, etc. Telecommunications Technicians often travel statewide working irregular hours and under hazardous conditions in the performance of their duties. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Quailifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a formal electronics technology program of instruction from a recognized public or private school or Armed Forces Service school.
Requires two (2) years of paid work experience within the past ten (10) years, performing system level troubleshooting and repair, down to a module or subassembly on two-way or multi-channel radio equipment (FCC Part 90, Part 101, or military equivalent); OR successful completion of the Telecommunications Technician Trainee probationary period.
Must possess a valid Arizona driver license on effective starting date.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires technical certification (e.g,, FCC General Radiophonic Operator's License or the equivalent, PCIA or APCO Technician Certificate, CET Journeyman Certificate with a Communications endorsement, or equivalent) OR acquisition of the FCC General Class License or the APCO Technician Certificate within six (6) months of date of hire. Failure to acquire either of these two certificates within six (6) months from the date of hire will violate probation status and be grounds for termination.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Will be required to climb communications towers while carrying all necessary equipment and tools and successfully complete work assignment
Progression to the next step requires an overall performance rating of "Standard" in the last 12 months.
Must successfully complete the examination process.
