Warehouse Operations Associate Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager Relay Express, a leading logistics company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. Critical Parts Management: Pull and process parts for our critical parts division, including but not limited to weekly cycle counts and meeting KPI's for inbounding and out bounding parts. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels, promptly reporting any discrepancies or issues to management. Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the warehouse operation and collaborate with team members and management to implement solutions. Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment at all times. Driving: Drive company vehicles as needed to transport goods between facilities or to deliver items to customers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. - Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects as well as the ability to climb ladders. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Job Description Operations Co-op, Fleet Operations - Chicago, IL/St. Charles, MO American Industrial Transport, Inc. is a privately-owned company based in St. Charles Missouri, providing railcar leasing and repair services to the companies that move the essential assets that power the North American economy. Job Summary & Core Responsibilities: The Fleet Operations Intern will support the Fleet Operations team through project-based work focused on operational efficiency, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. This role provides hands-on exposure to day-to-day fleet operations while contributing to clearly defined projects with tangible deliverables. • Support operations-focused projects aligned with evolving fleet processes and operating models • Assist with research, data collection, analysis, and reporting to support operational decision-making • Supporting process automation initiatives • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and productivity • Provide day-to-day support to the Fleet Operations team as needed, including documentation and workflow support • Participate in project planning and execution, helping track progress and deliverables • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand operational needs and support implementation of solutions • Learn about railcar operations, repair workflows, and fleet management while supporting day-to-day operational needs.
